Well, tonight is the opening night for a play I am in. The show is Wizard of Oz.
I play the Wizard. The special effects for the show are awsome.
This show is not like a elementy school production, it is a full on production of Wizard of Oz. There is flying (I get to fly when I leave the land of Oz in the balloon). The harnest for flying is VERY uncomfortable for the guys (if you know what I meen).
I am very excited and yet still very nervouse about tonight. I just want the whole community to wish me luck.

I think my high school is doing that song next year. I'll probably end up stuck in the pit.
Though people were telling me the music is harder than last year (the music last year was real simple).
What's the music like?
And good luck.

Like I said, this isnt like a school play, this is an actual performance, with actual GREAT costumes, and an actual stage, and an actual theatre.

The music is the same as the movie.
And I don't remember the movie or the music at all, hence why I was asking you what the music was like. :)
Good luck Ele. I've never been much of an actor, though in 3rd grade I wrote a play that was performed in front of my elementary school.
The teacher liked it so much she continued to use the play 2-4 years after I left her class.
Anyways, again, good luck.

EleMENTAL, I am sure you know by now that when this play is done "right" it can be a true masterpiece. Yeah a play can suck outright, but no matter how bad it is remember that a strong performance will be remembered by all.

The play came before the movie, smart one.
Well, as long as you're wishing him good luck, my script is opening at portland Center Stage this weekend. And im Othello in "Shakespear in the Park" Annual festival at Waterfront. Nice to see there are fellow thespians aboard TAO though. Even if its high school. High school plays were some of the most fun i had.
EDIT: Roody is an Actor too? Shiiitt....

Woot! Go Ele! :) I was never in drama at my high school, but my brother directed and my ex-girlfriend was in the play so I've been associated with drama little bit. Get pictures so we can see.
And yea man.. harnesses in general suck for guys. The wrestling team went to a rock gym a few years ago and you have to trust your partner to let you down gently. But of course we would release the line, let you fall a good 5 feet and hit the brake so that you crunched your nuts against the rope. And then there is another 10-15 feet to go after that...
Two of my teammates were left hanging about 10 feet off the ground where we could grab their legs and make them have gladiator matches.
Since we're such nice team mates and all. ;)

Well, I just got back from my performance, and it went pretty well. As anyone in acting knows, no performance is ever perfect...something always goes wrong.
As for me, I stumbled on a few lines cuz of first show "jitterbugs"(if you have have seen the show, you know why i said jitterbug). My mustache kept falling off because the spirit glue(glue for facial hair) didnt stick. But I did very well overall.

Also very stoner-like . . . come on . . . we know why they really ran through that field of poppy . . . they were all frickin' stoners! That's why! And the Wizard himself is just a lonely ol' bastard who can't wait to get some pussy! And the tin-man, we all know his attraction to men. I've got nothin' against the lion, but the scarecrow: that guy really needs to get laid.
Anyways, good luck MENTAL. Keep it real and don't forget your lines.
