Hey, what does my friend need to do?

My friend had a gold account and played for a month or two. Him and I played the game together for the same time on Armageddon. The thing is, he got a pet and changed all of his passwords to that pet's name (this was after we played, and decided to play other games). So he can't remember his previous password. So we try to figure out which username he used and such because he switched off normally between 3 or so usernames.

We tryed "statting" each of those usernames on my gold account, but it turns out that none of his accounts existed! We checked his email for his paypal subscription number, and we can't find that out either. We have almost nothing, but what a rough idea of what the username is. All we need is his paypal account's email address.

Are there any records of any gold accounts that were named : madpup (Capital or lowercase), or related?

The paypal account has all the information on it. The accounts username, its server location, and the subscription number is all there in the account itself, you don't need the emails.

Am I hearing you right that you want to know what the email address linked to a paypal account is? Has he completely forgotton what his email address is too?

He isn't asking because he is right next to me, and has absolutely no ideas how forums work and he doesn't have an account on these forums. He can't access his paypal account at the moment, but its good to know that the just needs to get his paypal account and it has all of his info on there. And he has his email address, it is just that he has many, and the only one that he uses right now doesn't have anything paypal related on there. For all he knows, it could be on one of my emails , and I have a lot.

Well, unforatunately, your stuck trying to figure out how to access your paypal account to figure it out. TAO can't really give info on the accounts unless your the owner, and you can't verify ownership without that info.

For a reference, its a very, very bad idea to so easily lose access to your paypal account. You should both take more care of it and be sure to be more secure in the future. Multiple email accounts is fine, but you need a permanent one for such important things. Its like losing your bank account information. You can't access your money, and you don't know if someone else can.

He wasn't ever going to use it for anything else. He barely knew what Paypal did. He can get his Paypal information, but not over at my house because he doesn't keep the credit card with him.

If you lose acess to the email used for your paypal, there is a way to gain access to the paypal accound still through Paypal. Just go to their help desk.
