Each server has a different policy.

***There is a list of members, leaders, and recruiters on the website.

Great Lakes- Play Crackclassa, Legitpenguin, or any other Si member there and the clan will discuss whether you are worthy or not.

Banff- Sign up on 4thfactor.com and look at the How To Join section on the top bar. Then go to the Interested In Joining part of the forums. Now look at the "Example" thread there that I made. Post the required fields and then we will respond to it. You will need to earn 4 Yes votes by playing recruiters and leaders. If by chance you get a No vote, you will need to earn 7 Yes votes.

Armageddon- Play Crackclassa, The Sniper, or any other member. They will decide whether you or worthy or not to join.

Revelation- If you are a gold account in Si on ANY server, you get free access to Revelation Si.

Legends- We are currently constructing a strong clan at Legends. It might be a while before we start recruiting heavily.

whoah im not even Si anymore and i take offense at that jeff. When i was an Si leader i would kick out a cheater in the clan if i found some sort of evidence and im sure every other person that gets elevated to leader that i knew would do the same. just because Si and netjak are rivals doesnt mean that you have the right to say untrue things that could degrade the reputation of one of the best clans on TAO... on a recruitment thread btw(and i dont beleive i ever degraded the rep of netjak, and told members of Si to stop if they got out of hand. find a thread to proove me wrong)

Long ago the power was placed in a the hands of someone who wanted to do something with that title.. as we told this member over an over again.. Legends isn't just for a one man show. You need LEADERS there. He never believed us.. Then he disappeared... um twice..

As we watched the server fade further and further back into October the attention to Legends faded and faded. Now everyone wants to go and play there.. and carry their namesake from FPS achievement.

Yeah Legends.. *sigh* something that is just out of Si's reach.. and we should have stayed there when ViS went there.. lots of good times then.

As far as active members that post here just check out our thread in Clanwarfare > Clan Discussion (http://www.tacticsarena.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1817).. even though it doesn't get posted in daily... you can find all the regulars... Dove, lol I don't think you'd ever think I'd read that, but I did. Thanks, but you have no idea how much I was stinking it up lately with my experimental forms. I went back to be basics, though, with the usual results (http://www.legendsforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=644). For a hellacious game, seek out OmegaShin, my mentor. :)

SI on Legends hardly exists, but it'd be nice to have real competition at Legends. 17 netjakkers on the top 50 (and quliang, THC Blitz, and I are also now in the top 50 so it may be more like 20 if they ever update the rankings), closest competition being 4 ChaosGladiators in the top 50 (1 of which is inactive; and another dropped out of the top 50). Top 50 isn't everything, but it's pretty accurate in reflecting the quality of players below the top 50 there, based on my experience.

I agree with rogue... why would we want to be in legends anyway? I mean, as a grey I consistently took out greys (and a gold or two) rated over 1400 with mud golems and frost golems to boot... seems like a lot of people there just rely on their drops to pull them through

That's cause you have the same problem I have, Rogue. :) I borrow a friend's gold account on FPS sometimes, but I don't play THAT much so high-rated golds don't want to play me.

As for server quality: so far I've only lost two games in gold-on-gold games at FPS: a luck-ridden one to a JW, and one against a clanmate who didn't know who I was. After beating plenty of 1400-1500 level gold at FPS, my experience is that skill level is pretty similar, except more compressed at FPS, so a 1300 legends would be a 1400 at FPS, but a 1800 FPS would be a 1900 legends.

Also, the other day I thought it was funny how there were 3 pages of golds in the lobby, but only 1 page of grays, whereas it feels the opposite at FPS. :)

P.S. Your boy Tommy63/Cambyman63 accused me of cheating with a guy I kept jumping. I was pretty mad at that guy for beating me through luck and then trash talking. I did spend one day dogging him from floor to floor, but I have never cheated for a point in my life in any game including this one. I guess it doesn't matter now since he joined netjak on legends, but just for the record, you know. :)

Also, you forgot one big advantage of FPS: it's online, unlike legends which has lag every morning for an hour and goes down for days at a time, albeit infrequently

hehe cant really blame crack. i went on army and on the first day of ever being there played zoticus. he had a whacked out form but was really nice and funny so i told crack and rogue that they should invite him.

also, it helps to be a girl when getting in.

if the recruiter asks for a specific type of game, play that kind(no matter what ur experiance or the rediculousness of the request)

If the recruiter has to leave, draw or surrender, if u surrendered and thoguht it unfair bring it up to someone once u get in...and well check it out

be nice and dont spam cause of bad luck...when i got recruited i got flawlessed by burning and mabey took 4 units from the other recruiters, as long as we can tell that u can get better and have a good attitude u should be good.

and clown...dont do it, ive tried with wolfs mom and ummmlets just say it hurt...before and after i sowed it back on

I got recruited in SI in someother history, lol, i was just playing on legends and saw a guy called big x, and started to talk to him cauze big x is a name of a pretty nice hamburguers restaurants in my city, and i just talked with him for about 30 minutes, he asked me for a grey game and invite me into the clan, giodness i remember he destroyied me as well. (and i had a frost, mud and etc of legends server, well he had it too, that was same conditions :P)

Well, I did actually pm Resc with a partial resume, what clans I had been in and what my current stats were. Didn't think I would actually get in, just figured I'd give it a shot. I took a break from the game I think, came back in about a month and one day Resc just invited me. Apparently he had posted a poll, and back then everyone knew about my grey skills I guess :bigsmile: .

I know I didn't play any recruiters (by "know" I mean not intentionally). I guess raw talent helps too :rolleyes: . Speaking of grey skills, Noda, when am I going to punk you and make that grey tourney official. I forget who else I have to play, I guess it would be Ric, since he won the gold?

I PM'd Rescorlian, we got in a game, and we had the exact same formation. He whipped my butt, but was impressed that I had the similar form(According to him). A few days later I was added to the official list. Later on the Clan Features came, and the rest if history.

Hey, here's the deal guys: Got on SI Elite on Banff today and had a gray, Smiley_girl, ask for a game. She said she had a poll from a while back, but had not been able to find recruiters. She said she had 3 votes on it before recruitment closed on Banff. Since 4th is down, I can't check it, so I will post here.

She is nice, a decent player, understands the game, just needs experience implementing strategy. She gets a YES from me. If anyone else knows about her poll, particularly leaders, and are sure this will be her 4th yes, then she needs an invite. If not, I will wait till 4th is back up and post there on her poll.
