What is a Gold account?
There are a few types of accounts in the game. First there is the free account, called a gray account. Second there is a pay account that has extra units and benefits that grays do not, referred to as a gold account. Others include Moderator and Administrator accounts which are a select few that maintain the game.
What are the benefits of a gold account?
-Full access to the TAO support ticket system.
-The spam filter to block unwanted chat coming from free accounts.
-Unrestricted chat functions, no more 8 second pause between sentences.
-Unlimited game access, no disconnects after battles (it is very useful when servers are busy), you will be returned right back into the lobby after your game is finished.
-Account stats wins/losses/draws/unit drops are recorded and not cleared monthly.
-Automatically receive new units and game upgrades.
-Unique lettering assigned to your name in-game which lets other players know that you are a supporting member of the community.
-Upgraded status in the community forums, including your own title and custom avatar. As well as a private forum to chat with other Gold Account holders.
-Create and lead your own clan, recruit other players, war other factions. Chat with your clan mates in your own private clan chat.
-An additional account on the exclusive Gold Account only server, Revelations. You can challenge and meet Gold Account holders from all TAO servers on this elite server.
How much does it cost?
$5 USD ( United States Dollar) a month paid though PayPal (http://www.paypal.com).
How long does it take to upgrade the account?
There is no speified ammount of time, but you recieve an e-mail from PayPal say the money was transfered. Then you wait for an administrator to upgrade you. Keep in mind Administrators are people too and have a lot to deal with.
What if I lose track of my paypal, or how to log into it?
Do not lose track of how to get into paypal or log into it. However, paypal.com has a password and a email recovery form at their website.
How do I get the units after I upgrade?
The Gold account units are automatically added to your previous units once your account is upgraded. You can still win unit drops when you are a gold account.
What is the Ticket system?

If you have some trouble with the game and you are a gold account member you can submit a trouble ticket. Trouble tickets can be sent for most of your problems, but do not send clan related or free account related tickets.
Is there anyway I could get my Paypal Subscription #, if I have lost it?
Your subscription number is in the email sent to you every single month when you make your payment. It is also available in your paypal, marked not only in the original creation of the subscription, but also every single payment.
I just put in the subscription # and it says invalid but I got it from the email that they sent me for the payment, what do I do?
Either you put in the wrong number or you are no longer a gold account. The correct number would start with a S

Once in the game, be it lobby or playing, lets say you want to make a clan called Vengeance in Shadow, then you would type:
/clan Vengeance in Shadow
Can I change the name of my clan afterwards?

Can my clan have more than one leader?
No. Only one person may be assigned as the leader. Many clans choose to make a shared account to allow more than one person to invite members, however, remember sharing accounts can be dangerous.
What is the in game commandment to enable my chat filter?
There is no commandment to filter a certain person or any gold account, however to toggle the gray account filter on and off type:

If I upgraded my account for the first time on 1st of this month do I have to pay again before the wipe?
The day of the month you paid originally is when the next payment is made. If you paid on the 1st, then the next payment will be the 1st of the next month.
I want my Forums Account upgraded as well, how do I do it?
