Crappy Forum Buttons and Images are Back.

We discussed this in RDT, but I think it deserves to be here.

The forum was down for Maintenance earlier. And it seems the change made was to DOWNGRADE the forum images from the nicely done images and smileys back to the ones that are not made for a dark colored forum.
The result is an uglier forum. If you don;t know what I mean, wait until your cache gets cleared, and you will see the old images.

Why would TAO Administration wish to purposefully make the forums worse than before? Hell, it would have been less work to just leave the good images up.

I would say it should be in the Suggestions board more than bugs. However, I do agree with Jeffery that we should get the yellow ones back, these do not even match the background... and lack all the personality the cool yellow ones did.

Suggestions forum is for suggestions. Suggestions are for when you are sugesting something. Tell me, where did I suggest something?
This is much more a bug, because it is an error in the forum. (Yes, the description says errors in game, but this forum section has long been used for forum errors as well)

Well, I cleared my cache upon reading this thread. I have to say this is absolutely horrid. Nice move, real nice. Maybe we can start losing options such as CUT and Sigs also? Hell, avatars are a worthless means of expression and just provide too much clutter. I think those could be dropped as well.

I love the crazy dotted white outline I have around my buttons and smilies. Don't know how bad it is on IE but on Firefox it looks awesome! Throwbacks are crazy off the hook right now, I figure we are just staying trendy. YAY!

Hey, don't start to panic :) On Friday we installed an upgrade for the forum and it overwrote images. It was by mistake and we will restore everything in next few days.

The old ":p" was better. His tngue looks liek a triangle. Other then that teh newer ones are 90X better.
