Yo, as you all can see Monkus hasn't returned to TAO for a while. He is a great player and especially a great person in general. I would love to have him back to my game of TAO. He changed my TAO experience, myself, and how i went about the game in Great Lakes. When he left I was like :eek: :confused: ...

Anyway, I talk to Monkus frequently on AIM; and I did so this morning. He said he was bummed about the people calling him ?cheater? when they don't have all the proof to actually said he was the rude accuser of Dragoen Link. I for one believe that was not Monkus because he is a better person than that.

Another topic that was brought upon us during our AIM discussion was that Monkus had created a Beast Rider guide meant to be placed into the FAQ section. Now, those that have read Monkus' guides on the Dragon Tryant and the Furgon; c'mon y'all..Those were definitely the most helpful and detailic guides on a specific unit out there. Monkus said this Beast Rider guide was pretty long and was a good one.. When Monkus Says It's Good.. IT'S GOOD! You have seen his other guides, if this one is good, it has to be very helpful to those who plainly underestimate the Beast Rider. Monkus has done a lot, and he said he would create more guides if he got that one on the site. I say he deserves a prize, too. (perhaps a Golem of his choice?)

Anyway, Monkus stated that if his guide was submitted his chances of coming back to TAO would rise, and I would like that. He is my friend. I have lost a lot of friends in TAO and I don't want to lose Monkus. Now, if you truly would like Monkus to return to Great Lakes, sign here. And remember, Monkus= not ?cheater?

Steve was insistent on making a thread for me, and wouldn't refuse, so I mentioned my BR review so he wouldn't look totally bad. If you think I tracked Steve down, asked him to do this for me, etc., then you're quite horribly wrong.

But on the other side, Steve, thanks for the thread, but it wasn't really necessary :p. However, I have been pm'ing realist and sergiy for months now about the BR review, and it just went between things such as "I sent it to sergiy, he should be submitting it" and "I never received it from Realist", and I would be glad to resend it, but I've just stopped hearing from them :mad:. Any day now guys.

He can't confront the fact that both threads caused results, making them useful threads, and not spam as he so oftenly tries to remind everyone. Wait. First of all, I never say w00t. It's a response that is totally invalid, because it actually stands for "We Owned the Other Team", so I never use it to respond to anything for which it wouldn't be appropriate. |_K never hit 1400, in fact, he never really surpassed 1300. He's never been in the top 100 before, and even after the horrendous stat inflation, 1392 is still #100.

Monkus was a great guy from Bushido Gaiden, if you read my thread-starting post, which you probably did, you will learn of his wonderful additions to the game. You will hear of him, if he ends up coming back.

I use a beast occasionally in turtle games. In freestyle games, I don't simply b/c it's most useful in a rush, while I anti rush in freestyle games.

And if giving a golem away is so ridiculous, then what's your opinion on a server that DROPS golems? :bigsmile:


Edit: However, my reviews have been a tad more useful than the intuitive reviews left for newer players. Mine are more focused on intermediate players, and I think they're quite useful. I've spent a lot of time on them, and I'm willing to make more, but I discussed this with Duffman when I started; a reward would be pretty cool.
