See, my main point is this: TOM CRUISE IS FUN. That's my point. He stars in phat movies, and he is fun to watch. I don't want anything else from an actor, and due to the fact that his movies STILL don't bomb, many other people agree with me. A lot of these actors are amazing actors but they make jacked up movies. You say Jude Law is a great actor, but he couldn't carry "Alfie" anywhere. I GUARANTEE you that if Tom Cruise was in Alfie, that movie wouldn't have bombed.

Some of the worst movies he did (in my opinion) MI, and MI2

MI2 sucked, but MI was off the chain. I can still watch that movie over and over.

True, some of the movies he was in were great but not because of him. rather, the movie story line, and other actors carried him. Far and away was a very good movie, but Tom Cruise was himself, but with an accent. Mission Impossible was a disappointment, at least to any fan of the original TV series. MI2 was a Tom Cruise EGO stroking mess. Rain man was awesome more because of the excellent work by Dustin Hoffman (great actor). Color of Money was a good movie again because of Paul Newman. Cruise was a slight variation of himself in all of them. Sorry, but he may be a big draw, but he is not that great an actor. Hell even Arnold managed to change gears an express himself as different characters. Look at Twins and Kindergarten Cop or even Junior, definately not the classic tough guy Arnold. I think that is what drove Tom and Nicole Kidman apart, he couldn't handle the fact that she was a real actor. LOL

You're not given Tom ANY props here. Tell me how many of these so called great actors can't be in a film with other great actors because they can't get the chemistry right? Tom is capable of playing with the big boys, and his movies still don't feel awkward. Don't you know that actors feed on each other? Why can't it be that these actors in movies with Tom Cruise acted so well because Tom had the chemistry to work with them? That they were able to bounce off of him well?

What is it that Tom Cruise has that people are attracted to? Women probobly think he is handsome but what about guys? What draws you to Tom Cruise? His movies have guns, cool car chases and hot women. I'm sure that's what draws you in.. not his acting skills.

Well, at least he certainly talked big. Calling himself something like Budlick or something...he said "GG" a wee bit too early, and then proceeded to say that ZZZackk, who had stolen my formation, used it better than I.

In the end, I said that I'm the MASTER of this formation, and proceeded to win.

Had his dragon running across the screen like a dog with its tail between its legs.

I told him to go and tell Rantzu that I'm not impressed by his clan so far. :dry:

I played a JW leader today, Dan U, and won, but when we played he seemed like a nice guy, but on the forums, I've seen things differently, but he still seems nice if your nice to him. I also played Jacksonville today, and it was the closest game I have ever had. I only had a 20hp scout at the end :eek:

I played a JW leader today, Dan U, and won, but when we played he seemed like a nice guy, but on the forums, I've seen things differently, but he still seems nice if your nice to him. I also played Jacksonville today, and it was the closest game I have ever had. I only had a 20hp scout at the end :eek:

When ur at 1800, it's 1 point per win, - 10 for a draw, and -15 for a loss... that if the opponent is over 1350. The odds of them getting super lucky alone make it not worth it... I'm surprised fry even wastes his energy with ppl who aren't worthy. It's easy for you to call him coward when the odds favor you, if you want to play him, raise ur stats and make it worthwhile.

But more importantly, I think fry's made it very clear that he doesn't play people that he don't respect. I don't know what you've done with fry, but judging from my experiences with accounts in your old clan and by your forum posts, I'd can see exactly why he doesn't want to play you. If he wins, you blame it on luck, if he loses, you make a big deal out of it and make sure everyone knows... see my point?

Let me explain to you what TAO is... TAO is a turn based strategy game where PART OF THE STRATEGY is you can place your pieces whereever you want to get the most advantage at the start. Don't like that part? There's something called chess, that you can play on a lot of web sites for free, where both players start out equally, neither with an edge and luck is not a factor.

now let me explain to you how to cheat in TAO...
1) you can make extra accounts and play urself for stats.
2) you can't face the weaknesses that your form has, so you make up ur own rules (in a game that's already balanced) and try to force everyone to use a form you have an advantage against. ;)

Second, crx touched on this...but how exactly am I playing n00bs? With the level I'm at, I think a player needs to be about 1300 for me to get 1 (one!) point off of them. While it certainly is possible to reach 1300 and be a pretty bad player, I think that we can generally agree that someone who gets there *generally* has pretty decent skill. Dan U makes it sound like I'm playing a bunch of 750's, when really, all I won't do is play his poor-sport self. Perhaps if a little decency and good sportsmanship had ever been shown, I might be willing to play. But it hasn't, and I'm not.
