Well Thargor. You are correct. I was at work tonight and I started to think about Tao and all this mess that’s been going on with the forums. So I decided to write this as soon as I got home.

We had no right to “flame” or even post in that thread. The problem with me is…as soon as I see a post, I quickly reply without thinking of what I am about to say. It tends to show some confused and hard to read paragraph that is filled with typos and lots of grammatical errors with even a lot of random blabbing. So now I am going to take my time and use the power of Microsoft Word to make this post.

Many of you netjakers that get to know me on the field may know that I am generally a nice guy. With all these random outrageous posts, I can see how things got out of hand. There is a few of you guys that I get along with and rather enjoy playing. It’s great competition.

So I post here for the simple reason that I want to apologize. I need to slow down and not jump to conclusions and try to not only be a better Tao Player, but a Tao person as well. An apology is probably a little to late but I want to get this out now so that I can move on and concentrate on other things with Tao. I would like to apologize to some people personally because I made myself look like an ass and seem like a total jerk.

First off, Frylock. I know we had our differences and arguments. Instead of trying to stop you reaching 1800 or trying to keep you 2nd, I should have congratulated you on your task. Its not an easy things keeping that high of stat. losing once sets you back like 16 games. I am sorry for being such an ass and a jerk, instead of a good competitor. I have gotten too cocky over the months. But right now I am going to change all that. I don’t expect a thank you or even an “ok”. I just want you to know that I am going try to change now. So Frylock. Congrats on your success and I hope one day I can do the same.

2nd. Wack-Head. You probably notice a lot of my posts contradict one another. Well most of the time I am 90 percent sure I was drunk . I try not to get on Tao when I am at a party but sometimes its so much fun. You are a great player and a great person. I enjoy getting my ass whooped in every turtle game we play. Again we didnt merge "for the sake of pts" . The merge between CG and Illuminati was thought of a long time ago. We actually merged to make Illuminati Gladiators. But of course that lasted a few days :(. Since then. Carlos and me have become good friends on the game. We took the idea a lil more serious. Thus a new name was made. Illuminati was 3rd on banff and CG was close behind. Adding both clans up gave us first on banff.

Now as for army and gl. We merged with XF for the simple reason that we needed some sort of foundation on that server. Altho XF was gonna merge with us before Jokers Wild.

Honostly the only thing wrong that we did, was rush into the idea. We formed the clan too fast. Thus, our problems. Things are straightend out now.

So crx. We didnt merge for the sake of pts. It jus happened like that because all 3 clans had decent clan pts.

So I am not posting to argue. But to defend.

This was also back in the day before there were listed rankings, so it wasn't for the appearance of our clan as we strongly suspect is the reason for many of these merges. It also was no where near so broad a merge as the SI, JW, and TLN merges.

Seriously, when Pixel called me last night and read to me what was going on, I just had the overwhelming sense of being very lucky to be with you guys. I'm neither cocky enough to say I'm totally responsible for netjak, nor stupid enough to try and act like I didn't play any roll to our success at all.

But I happen to know that some of you great guys didn't have to meet me as you did. When I think of the great personalities of this clan, with all of your various talents and the different things that you give to make us all feel so rich...

You know, things like this don't happen very much in life. Sometimes our efforts, no matter how much you put into them, flop. Completely. Sometimes things work well. But very rarely do things work out so SPECTACULARLY well. Such is clan [netjak.com].

I often go back and look at the first pages of this thread, when I was a total n00b leader. Then I go a bit further and see some of the first of our major forum-wide conflicts with some fool or another. I see the folks who have been faithful from the very start, folks who were our enemies now with us, see how others mature in game and in personality.

I don't know what more to say right now. All I know is that it's very fun leading this clan. I feel like I'm the coach of a professional sports team, folks...a team that just keeps on winning and growing. More importantly, it just feels great to be around wonderful people and feeling like a TEAM.

O.K. That was for #5000. I'll need time to think of more sentimental stuff for 10,000.

I actually explained a few things about TAO and Netjak to my friends today for the first time. And that it's really not just the game but the people around them. I mean, I've been in this clan for almost 18 months. That's got to mean something. And I think they actually understood a little of what I was talking about, even though it's still the internet. I just hope I still know you guys when I bring my ass over to the US.

Anyway, ranting like usual, don't pay too much attention to it.

To supplement it, we give everyone one mroe ranking update to get themselves in... Because the golds who aren't in the top100 and want to participate will HAVE to get grey accounts for the draft.

You mean the Tag-Tourney where I had to play at what? 4 AM? True, I played like a baboon. The fact that I had more trouble with keeping my eyes open than with my opponent himself made it a little bit harder though.

Or do you mean the Grand Rev League? True, after a 4-0 start I messed up and ended somewhere in the middle, in "league A". Reasons: Not really any excuses, I played the best players in TAO and I'm not complaining, I know I'm not the best Gold player in TAO.

This however doesn't change the fact that our record is still 4-1, so don't kid yourself. You're going to have an INCREDIBLY HARD time to defeat me even once, so if I were you I'd keep on avoiding me before GL loses its leader.
