Yes, I happened to miss the 500th post because this thread is turning into nonsense and pathetic jokes mainly shared by non-netjakkers, but also netjakkers alike.

Next time I see a post like or of the consistency of "you're hot" in THIS thread, it's neg time. And let me just warn you all that I have 10 fresh neg bombs today for anybody who does not contribute wisely to this thread from now on. Anyone who has posted here for awhile knows that I go here to pos rep anyone who posts well here. This is my pos rep home. But it's getting to the point where I feel like I'm wasting rep points on some of these posts.

I don't want people NOT to have fun here, but please let's recognize the difference between spamming and quality posting. This is looking like the freakin' KOTR thread, for heaven's sakes.

Now, let's say something about netjak since it IS 500 pages.

While Netjak is huge, the funny part is that we haven't even reached our potential yet in TAO. One can say that netjakkers have "mastered" this game, but I think that's only because nobody has ever gotten as far as us.

But I still see much to do; which is amazing because this clan is in better shape then its ever been in before. Dang it...we've gone through so much. But we keep bouncing back and returning even STRONGER than before. Netjak is as beautiful as it ever was, and we're going to ride this as long as we can.

I'll say again what I've said before: my role in this clan is as leader. It's only a ROLE...much like an actor in a play. Without this actor, it wouldn't be right. But it's a role as equal as that played by any other netjakker. I am not better or worse than any other of you all. Never think that.

Nice post Twelve, all I have to say is that I'm glad to be part of the grandeur and majesty that is netjak. Truly, you (now it's we I suppose) were a clan that I feared and respected from the humble beginnings of my TAO career and now have become so much more. While I still respect each member and the clan as a whole, I've come to love netjak... it's a clan to call home.

Based on the rep system, the people choose lots of jakkers. Sure it's not an entirely reliable system, but it's pretty apparent by now that lots of netjakkers are highly respected members of this community. But the hard part is choosing which one to take the step to power. As you said, many netjakkers are respected, and I don't think we need around ten more moderators.

As for the whole mod discussion, well one thing is clear is that there will be a new mod. As for if that person would never be a netjakker...I really don't know. I am very, very curious to see what will happen.

I just want someone who plays and loves the game.

I don't know where the idea came from that a person who is a mod can't be in a clan. Seriously, I would end up being the first person who would have to do so if I ever became a mod. Only Xerent wasn't in a clan as mod, and I'm not even sure about that. Burning stepped down out of her own choice based on the many situations that definitely looked like she was biased. Maybe she was, maybe she wasn't. Nevertheless, she is still technically a mod now and also again in SI.

The new mod needs to be dedicated, and 12 is quite obviously a dedicated man. He puts a lot of effort in at the actual site netjak.com (if you haven't actually been to the site, great unbiased game reviews).

We need mods that will take a strong role in the community. 12 has the experience and the ability to do a good job.

As one of The Netjak leadership, I suggest strongly that we cease in trying to promote or push the idea of any Netjak as Mod. It is one thing to be thought of in that capacity by someone outside the clan, but for clanmates to push the idea is tasteless. The Administration and Moderators of this game will make their decisions based on what they feel to be important and we will all just have to wait for that deciseon to be made public.

I don't think clan membership or leadership should prevent modship, but if pretty much ANY clan leader does become mod, s/he's going to have "you're biased" comments ALL the time even if his or her actions are impeccable, just because some people dislike the clan for whatever reason. I highly doubt that. I have complete faith that netjak would continue to have a strong bond even if 12 left to be a mod, except that the clan's history of being led by the great 12 would be ruined. I just can't imagine netjak.com without 12 as their leader.

This or the mention of this idea is completely false. You haven't been around long enough to know that 12 was gone for quite a long time. During this time Search was also gone leaving the inner circle of leaders to do overall lead together. Eventually we found it was easier to make one member a "replacement" just for someone to have the final word. However I think things went just fine.

No offense to 12, just clearing up the assinine idea that the remaining leaders can't work together for the good of the clan.

I've already drawn the conclusion that this person is an old...um...acquaintance of mine named "nookie". I have many reasons to believe this and her putting this into her sig was the final key that I needed for proof. It's a long and complicated reasoning process, but it all fits.

Well, after the busiest summer of my entire life, I am happy to announce that I am taking my first actual vacation in 5 years at least (since my wife and I were married.) We are going out to Anaheim to go to Disneyland today, Tuesday and Wednesday, coming home Wednesday night to chill on Thursday and then leaving the kids with Grandma on Friday-Sunday as we go up to San Francisco for the weekend. I'm actually looking forward to getting out of the area for a while and just spending some time with my wife. If anyone lives up in Frisco, say hi. I'll be walking Pier 39 on Saturday before going to Alcatraz for one of the evening tours. (Yes, they're sending me to prison!) So I shouldn't be on this week. Have fun and don't make any good posts for a week that I have to come back and read. :D

Well, after the busiest summer of my entire life, I am happy to announce that I am taking my first actual vacation in 5 years at least (since my wife and I were married.) We are going out to Anaheim to go to Disneyland today, Tuesday and Wednesday, coming home Wednesday night to chill on Thursday and then leaving the kids with Grandma on Friday-Sunday as we go up to San Francisco for the weekend. I'm actually looking forward to getting out of the area for a while and just spending some time with my wife. If anyone lives up in Frisco, say hi. I'll be walking Pier 39 on Saturday before going to Alcatraz for one of the evening tours. (Yes, they're sending me to prison!) So I shouldn't be on this week. Have fun and don't make any good posts for a week that I have to come back and read. :D

San Fran is a beautiful place. Just crossing the Golden Gate Bridge was eventful in itself. When i went, i wasn't able to go to Alcatraz. I don't know if you drink Med, but if you do, check out some of the local wine vineyards. It's a great experiance and a romantic place for you and the wifey. Good luck my man, and have a great time!

Researching the numerous right-wing websites was not as simple as point and click, it took cunning, bravery, and a sharp intellect to compile a roster of the leading anti-everything not jesus lobbying groups.

Not to mention that NAMBLA is f***ing weird.

The fact that my efforts garnered nothing but a HAHAHA from Wack (greatly appreciated of course), and a good natured barb from Hugh ( well played my good man), has severely hurt my self esteem.

They used to be the same clan I think, but either AL became the clan for the best players in that clan (AK+AL), or AK was just the recruitment clan.

I mean "Legends" top "Knights" of course..

But then the clan broke in pieces because of the attitude given by AL, they even fought a war which AL won, since then they've been relatively cool with eachother.. But they're definitely 2 separate clans now.

And roods, AL was established a good bit before AK, Then a noob gold wanted to be leader(saint) so Ak was formed, They served as a training clan. LT joined and stayed in AK, even though He was allowed to move up, Gryph left for a bit, some peops joined AK, fight broke out, Never related any more.
