hehe ok you've got me, i'm not that bad on fps, either... in roughly 20 fps gold games i've lost just 2 or 3 times, all of them coming early on as i was adjusting to 2 scouts, and one loss was against a longtime netjakker so that doesn't even count since netjak is awesome ;). nevertheless, i'm winless (0-5 or something like that) against omegashin and can't consider myself decent until i get at least one win off of my main mentor :)

Omega was nice enough to give me helpful tips even when I was in another clan, and I kept bugging him every so often with questions. Plus I have a decent or winning record against everybody I've ever played more than 1 game with on Legends EXCEPT Omega. So it's only half-joking when I call him my mentor.

Legends accounts rarely get wiped; just log in and play a nonclan game every few months or something and you'll be fine. If you're gold, it's unwipe-able. The bad thing about new golds on Legends is that drops are off and may not get turned on for a while, so you'd have to go mud-golem-less.

Legends does lag a lot for about an hour each day (late morning Pacific time, or mid-afternoon Eastern), or at least that was the case a few weeks ago when I last played there.

But Legends also has way more golds-per-gray, and I was fond of pointing out that it's not too unusual to see 3 pages of golds and 1 page of grays in the lobby--and that's just the lobby, not including people in battle. :)

Lastly, Legends ratings are not that inflated, just a little. And from what I've seen, the top players at FPS are about the same skill level as Legends top players, but they are spread out among 4 servers whereas it's more concentrated at Legends, which is probably the single biggest server by volume.

Yes I get a sick feeling in my stomach whenever I ask Omega to test a new form with me and no matter what I'm reduced to praying for luck as he systematically flattens my army.

TemplarX2 is a cheater and liar. I wasn't THAT mad at him till I caught him cheating red-handed (others saw it too, that time and other times when he's cheated) and then to deflect attention from himself started accusing me of cheating (totally untrue) and that he was undefeated against me.. of course, he IS undefeated against me, but not because he's good; it's because we're 0-0, not counting the time he timer-froze me on his gray, which is the only time I ever played that jerk.

P.S. And the time he did timerfreeze me, he jumped me with a gray and froze me when he had just a LW and scout left, whereas I had almost everything left.

I was informed today that I made International Law Review! Now, most of you have no idea what that is. Law School has a few literary journals and membership is most prestigious and coveted and looks GREAT on the ol' resume. I probably won't publish anything this year, but perhaps next year could see my venture into scholarly print. Ooooh.

And I've also been picked to try out for the school's national Appellate Advocacy competition. Again, that means zilch to anyone, but it's a big deal, and if I win the school comp, it'll be an even bigger deal, as I'll get to compete at regionals and perhaps nationals. But I have to win the school comp first, so no putting the cart before the horse.

So yes, things are looking good in Fry-ville. This means I'll have even less time to spend around here, but rest assured, I will still be present...if for no other purpose than to irritate unrealist by showing him he can't get rid of me. :)

I've come to the conclusion that I "wouldn't" mind joining Netjak.

What this means is this:

I would be able to join Netjak on FPS, however on Legends I would stay a part of SG, now true that this isn't how it works however let me explain a bit.

a) SG is now a formal tribute to TAO, I no longer consider it a clan, and by no means do I expect anyone to start it up as a clan. SG members feel that we completed our goals a long time ago.

b) If in any case it can't be allowed, then forget me joining Netjak (No that isn't meant as an insult or derogatory comments, but just as an understanding that I can never leave SG).

Well there is only one flaw in this process. I have cycled a few through the rotation and gotten the number just right to have a separation time from each just long enough to be kicking it with another. However, that leaves me with no down time to recharge my batteries. I'm only 27 but hell, it's a far cry from being 21 again.
