[Twelve]

We sprouted first into Great Lakes, with DKR. Then Legends, with Nomar and Wack-Head. Then Armageddon, with Roody-Poo Then Revelation...being the FIRST and still the ONLY clan with a strong, threatening presence in every server where TAO is played.

I'll not post the secrets of how this is done and maintained...but I can tell you that its done on the backs of people like me who love adventure and love to stick it to the face of those who supposedly rule. That's the netjak spirit...

So much has happened. I remember the drama of DKR, the girl who turned out to be a guy. Or our rivarly with Divine Right. Lord Ducki's unforgettable character and impact in GL. Our battles with the single player who hurt us the most, Bottle, now himself a netjakker. The ups and downs of SI, and how we reacted to them. The days when Catra, Hugh Junit and I used to rule the Banff lobby. When our site, netjak.com, used to suffer from hackers from TAO and was shut down almost every weekend. When I had to quit the game, truly thinking my time in TAO was done, and Old Man Killer was given overall lead. All of the times people thought we were dead...wishing that we were dead...hoping to take our place...and being wrong every time.

We've changed from a small clan, to a "bombing" clan, to "bad-boy" clan...now we're THE clan, containing the widest variety of people every assembled under one name of TAO.

Look at this thread...10,000 posts...having the best discussions ANYWHERE. Look at our reputation on this forums...netjak has a friendship ring greater than any in all of TAO.

We've only got one thing to prove actually, because we are clearly the best clan ever...we've only got to prove that we can be better. Our only true rival now is ourselves...because only we can take ourselves apart.

Then came our first ELITE warrior...Pyro_Guy4. Dude beat EVERYONE. And I simply asked him to join. By that time, we had more members, but we were still small. I remember pyroguy saying, "Hey, this is my first non-noob clan...lol". He always said "lol" too much.
Wow... I remember pyro_guy4. Possibly my greatest nemesis before Darque and Draquist were in their prime. What happened to that guy? Got scared off by me, I suppose :D

It was during that conflict that I truly saw Bottle in the beginning of his posting glory. I had met him back when he was grey in Banff, clanless...and I saw his skill even then. I wanted him in the clan, but I remember him saying that he gave his word to someone else...he would grow into one of netjak's greatest rivals.
In many ways, it was a shame that SI got to me first. I love the old SI, and that'll never change. I had to pick a side and then it seemed like the right one... in fact, it WAS the right one for me then. But I always had nothing but the GREATEST respect for you guys, even if the rest of SI were wary of you or even openly didn't like you. And I'm glad that I came to netjak on my return. I still miss most of SI, but now I have more friends in netjak than I do in SI.

Those "old days" were truely the golden days of TAO. The predominant factor wasn't formation, but skill and cunning. I was feared as possibly the best furgon user ever. Furgons now are somewhat useless, except in some old-school turtle games with 2 scouts. And of course, the rivalry between SI and NJ never has, never is or never will be bettered. No matter what JW may hope :p

I'm probably gonna get negged for this, and the netjakers will be upset about what I have to say but i'm gonna say it anyways.

Hugh that was an intentional miss use of your mod powers. It's not up to you to give 12 his 10,000 post, now don't get me wrong, he does deserve to have it, but then again he should have had the time to be on when he saw yesterday was going to be the day of that post. It's not up to you, or any Mod to delete responses in this thread if there is no reason or if you consider the last 15 messages to be spam, then all things considered, alot of posts in this forum should also be deleted because some just consist of the post ":)" or "OMFG". etc

Like I said, i'm not bashing netjak, 12 in anyway shape or form, however I do believe that Hugh using his Mod powers to lock the thread, delete posts and allow 12 to get a message just because it's the "10,000" post is no justification and an abuse of Mod powers on Hugh's behalf.

What you posted is EXACTLY the first thing I thought about replying with.

I could sit here and argue this out, but all it would lead to is Moose saying he was "misunderstood", ruin a perfectly good string of posts, bring others in to laugh and start shit about the fact I've defended Moose in the past, and basically do nothing but drag this thing out.

In closing... no matter what you say Moose, your "misunderstood" conception is double-talk. It is all there in print. If you want to play victim then go ahead, but something tells me your attempts will be ignored as a whole. If you want to hang out and be cool then go ahead. And as I said if nothing like this has ever been done before then ok. But if it has then you are just showing sour grapes. And whether or not it has or hasn't... you're double-talking which pretty much kills all credibility that your case would have anyway.

He got sick of nobody playing him in Banff (a common netjak problem) and moved to Legends, before netjak went there. Then he just disappeared. I'm still trying to find him...

So to re-cap and end off this "silly" arguement, In my opinion, Hugh "stretched" his privledges as a Moderator to alter posts in order for Twelve to get the 10,000 post, now, and i'll make this very clear (I hope), I believe Hugh did the "right" thing for that post, however went about it in a "wrong/semi-abusive" way, with the use of his powers on the forum..

Like I said, "Context" is what it all comes down to, and if you recall, I didn't care what xyx posted, others did even when I asked it to be stopped (though partially because xyx wouldn't just give up, which ironically enough is what i'm doing).

So you can take this reply on the subject as another "excuse" or just for what it means, meaning that this is how I saw things, but in the long run, it doesn't matter, it's a silly example of how eaisly things can be taken out of preportion on the forums and blown into "egotisitical" assumptions.

Secondly, what approximation did you use? Ramanujam's summation is the most accurate algorithm, I believe. But finding 2,000,000 decimal places would still take a lot of steps even for that. Which program did you use? Java? MATLAB?

I am on the verge of retiring from TAO due to extreme frustration with DSMs and Real Life stuff (but if Seed makes a worthwhile unit who knows?), and looking back, one of the best memories I have about the game is my time in NJ, one of the rare clans that does it the right way, and I don't mean just in this game but in general... the clan cohesion is especially impressive considering the one-on-one nature of the game (a bigger playing field allowing 2 vs. 2 play is probably out of the question).

Alright I don't know if any of you have ever played volleyball before but my school team played yesterday and we beat a team 25-1. The only point the other team scored(was kinda my fault) I went up to block the one kids spike and it tipped off my fingers and just dropped in fornt of my teammate in the back row. My volleyball coach has been playing/coaching for 20 years and he said he's never seen anything like it in his life. Before our game the next biggest blowout he's seen was a 25-4 game. Just thought I'd let you know of some netjak exellents in athletics

Netjak WIIIN indeed. I love volleyball...I played it in high school as well. Once I get the opportunity, I want to play it a LOT more often again. It's just a sport that seems to come naturally to me.

Definetly.Thats why my stats have been the same for a couple of days,no games to play.Well surprisingly there is no lag right now,but that will most likely last for 5 mins.

Hope Seed or whoever fixes this soon,and brings back drops.
