What pisses me off even more is the way every single gold on banff refuses to play me because they're scared. Oh, that and the "server unavailable" sign. And my wretched blocking (which cost me another 12 points today from a guaranteed winning position).

All the time. I'm not counting, but in my last 30-odd games, I've lost about 12 of them to players less skilled than myself because of either blocking, formation or first turn. Two beat me through good play, about 4 games I had good luck in, and the rest the luck was about even or only slightly against me, all of which I won.

It's much cheaper that way, too. I had a friend here last year, BIIIIIG man, when we went to the bar, he'd have to spend a good $20-$30 just to get his buzz going. That's got to get expensive after a while.

Back in my hockey and wrestling days, I could hang with the big boys, but law school has brought me down to a modest 4-5 beer buzz and 7-8 beer drunk. It may be on the light side, but hey, I save some dough, it's still fun, and the sooner I get buzzy, the sooner I can start doing foolish, yet memorable, things! :cool:

I have no idea but it seriously pisses me off. Usually you can just hold down the eneter button and you will get in within 5 mins unless you have a really slow computer.

As soon as I see CAU actually lead to a real unit in TAO, I'll pay more attention to it and actually give my ideas.

ehh, I just like the theory debates within the CAU community. It's fun to speculate on the impact a particular unit would have on the game. But then again, I am a fairly large theory nerd as well. There will actually be a CAU unit used in a TAO like game. xerent is creating a game called "Tactics Genesis", for more info take this link (http://www.tacticsarena.com/forum/showthread.php?t=20100).

The unit used will be one of the units that has been Certified Platinum y the CAU Committee.

Kinda cool, it will be interesting to have another game like TAO out there. I am expecting netjak.com to have the forst review.;)

So basically, your stats were fake. We wouldn't have even tested you if you didn't have those stats. On top of that, the leader who tested you, Clacker, said that your skill didn't match those fake stats. So, all sentiments aside, we can't have you on the clan simply because you haven't passed our basic skill/stat requirement. Truly no offense meant.

I have to agree, that post was funny as hell.

In terms of shirts or stuff like that, it would need to be very low profile to sell. No refences to gaming or anything like that. Something simple, like a black shirt with netjak.com written in plain white on the front across the chest, maybe a B/w logo on the back, mabe nothing, maybe "Est. 1842" or whatever. Whatever it is, no geeky refernces like, "PWNing TAO since 2004" or "1337 gamer crew" (i know we would never say that in particular, it's just and example).

Also, no refences to it being a "clan" or it will not sell at all. Clans are viewed sa nerdy in the real world, and gamers have enough nerd issues out there to just put a target like that on thier backs.

Go to www.netjak.com/forum and head to the Clan Signups section. Post your name (on the server), your rating, grey, and preferable server (post a preferable one and the secondary ones will be worked on if you are accepted).

Also, a brief explanation of yourself and your reasons for wanting membership would be nice. :)

No, I think Bills screwed up the admining of the game, and Seed screwed up the programming of the game. Neither gives a damn enough to actually focus on the game itself.
And I have bashed Bills decisions, and gone against him not doing things on many occasions. The difference is Bills finally caved in and brought in Sergiy to at least do some work.
Seed hasn;t gotten that far yet.

Basically Jeffery, it comes down to this, Seed did get help (Tuff) for Legends who asked to start taking over updates and help improve tao's status. However a couple of hackers got into the database and messed it up, and then blamed Tuff for the problems. Now as you know Tuff created the new addition for the blocking program that has made blocking a fair bit even. As for new units, if people hadn't started bitching and whinning, there would be at least 2 new units by now....but nooooo, so Tuff quit after being harassed and emailed constantly.

Now as for the forum page where Tuff was asking for information on how to alter files, that was done mostly by xonetuffrabbitx who is a completely different person. Tuff had asked him if he had any knowledge about the programs because Seed was away for a month.

Anyways, if you want to make TAO a better place for everyone, i suggest you take your cynical attitude, flush it down the toliet and be patient.
