For the past 2 nights, I've been involved in the law school's mock trial competition. On tuesday, we got to cross-examine a witness, and tonight, we gave a closing argument. I was pretty nervous, having never done this sort of thing before.

But this is what I came to law school to do, be in court and try cases, and so I went for it. And I just found out

I'll get to represent the law school at the Regional competition in february. This is a huge honor, and that aside, I am damn well pleased with myself. :D One of the judges said to me "You nailed it. I can't think of any criticisms."

This will mean a LOT more work for me, so I may not be in as much, but I'll still be around.

Sorry to take up a whole post and do nothing but brag, but dammit, I deserve it!

Well, give them the message (before I see them) that netjak only wants people who are true to the clan. I used to think that Roody was exaggerating when he said that Army is full of little kids and n00bs...I realize now that he's right. It's like they've all gravitated there. Netjak is trying to glean whatever mature people that they can from over there...but there are few. So yes, if you're on netjak in Army, you may find yourself alone during certain times of the day. But it's much better than being surrounded by idiots in your clan.

I'm gonna scream. I have been trying to play more lately. I go on Rev and let anyone jump my turtle, and I've almost perfected the antirush strat with my basic turt. I can win about 60% of the games (almost all opp side games and 1 in 5 samesiders). Well, I have been having some truoble with my wireless internet (my roommate runs it, and he is an idiot, the router exploded or something, and he refuses to call our cable company and get a new one - its free for christ's sakes, all it takes is a phone call).

Anyway, I have been getting a lot of dcs, like almost every game now. It really pisses me off. I have managed to keep my stats about the same in Rev. On Legends I have dced the last 3 games, all against average grays who I was pwning - I've lost almost 70 stats in those 3 games. On my Banff account, which has been 1500+ for months now, I am down to 1459, all because of dcs. I has some new, 750 gray jump me today (I ask for games for minutes, then go fishing in hopes of a gold waiting to jump my turt, it never happens).

Anyway, the guy has just started, but he read the rules, and was asking some questions. I answered all of them, and let him mess around in the game for a bit. I continued the game for several minutes after it was necessary so he could experiment and kill a few of my units, so he could have a little fun. I wisp his cleric, his last unit, and then end my turn, waiting to finish it with my scout the next turn. I type in a farewell and good luck message that never appears, as the game lags and I dc, one move from the win. 16 stats down the drain for being a nice guy.

I can't play a game these days without getting a dc. Grrr, its just so frustrating, when you're teaching some cocky little rusher a lesson and you dc while you're pwning him with a turt. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

Did I mention I knocked my laptop off my bed and cracked the corner of my LCD screen? Gonna cost me 700 bucks if I want ti fixed.

I had something like the other day...

I was about (hopefully) to beat Rogue_Wolf. I had 2 knights both at 50. He had a full scout and a 55 dragon. He previously had 4 scout sides, so I was almost sure I could get a hit on the scout front. If it hit, then I would've killed his scout. Leaving it: My ,around, 20 knight and 50 knight vs. his 55 dragon. But, I got a d/c! I wasn't as much upset about the stats. It was Rogue is a great player and I wish I beat him! :p
