Instead of its name being "furgon", its suddenly called "enraged furgon"...but we still haven't figured out what to do when that happens!!!

It is possible to phase in coding. Maybe the Enraged portion of the code was ready to go. So it was put in. But the action it allows is not ready for release.
Seed has had a habit of dribbling in these kind of things on Legends, to test them a bit at a time, before knowing if they work all the way.

The animation and sound are neat-o, but I don't think the move itself has much practical value.

Yea, that being said Once someone shrubs up I know I wont be letting them do the move on my rush I will take the turn to hit a shrub, if I'm playing against a turtle. That may be the difference between them saving their cleric or not. I think the move is going to be more of a threat then a practical use. It also adds a lot more tactics to this game. Like if a turtler pulls the move off on my spread rush...SHIT..GAME OVER!

Your mother is crying because of a stimulus. This stimulus may be either severe physical pain, or intense emotional stress. The tears may also have been started due to excessively dry eyes or particles on the eyeball.

Crying occurs when the lacrimal gland secretes lacrimal fluid through the tear ducts to the space between the eyballs and eyelids. Blinking then lubricates the eyes. Tears also flow through the nasal cavity, sometimes causing the nose to run during a severe cry.

But, you should take care to also check your mother's eyes and the surrounding areas for foriegn particles or strong vapors. Retrace your steps, have you been using either tear gas or pepper spray in the last few hours? Are you currently involved in an extensive training regimen for an onion cutting contest? Have you been storing your dust collection in the air conditioning vents? Once you have answered these questions, you may have discovered the root of the problem.

No, it won't "stop" the GA...the only way to "stop" the GA is to take the GA out of the game...the GA is supposed to be annoying. But it will make for another prime target...

For folks that know how to win without a cleric, this is awesome. For folks that can't play without a cleric, it's still awesome, because while folks are focusing on the cleric you can now stifle your foes.

There will be a whole host of new formations based on this move...hehehe...

Back to the furgon -

In my humble opinion, the new move is flash over substance. It takes a somewhat lengthy chain of events to set up, and you need good timing to do it. Also, the prep work kind of renders the furgon useless in the leadup.

The animation and sound are neat-o, but I don't think the move itself has much practical value.

The bottom line is that you have to take time to STOP the move, which will distract from killing the cleric, wisp, dsm...and other typical targets. If you choose NOT to stop it, and still kill the cleric, for example....hehe...if you're like me, THEN you truly get to rock your foes.

Yea, that being said Once someone shrubs up I know I wont be letting them do the move on my rush I will take the turn to hit a shrub, if I'm playing against a turtle. That may be the difference between them saving their cleric or not. I think the move is going to be more of a threat then a practical use. It also adds a lot more tactics to this game. Like if a turtler pulls the move off on my spread rush...SHIT..GAME OVER!

I agree, turtlers still don't have enough defense against rushes. It's no good surrounding your opponent in shrubs if you have no cleric and the enemy will either just teleport away from the shrubs or stay inside them and rely on blocking to help them out until they escape. And don't forget, it also protects the enemy cleric and prevents you from using your dragon or knights...

Which is better than hitting the cleric, right?
Well, now that recovery gets cleared when the furgy enters rage, it wouldn't be worth knocking out a shrub any more... it would just be a waste of a turn. So they'll go for the cleric instead, and then you're left with the scenario above.

How's this for a formation: 9 witches and a furgy. First move, furgy around yourself, if they kill a witch with the dragon or LW, shrub around their units... they then have to decide whether to go after the witches or free themselves first...

Or a wisp could become very very evil if your units are shrubbed up and your wisp poisons them and you barrior the wisp. Nah.... I think pyros are going to be the best thing with this attack. Imagine shrubbing up your opponents units, walking your 27 damage pyro up to the shrub line, and targetting the shrub behind your opponent's unit. Now his only option is to retreat, or hit a shrub to get back at your pyro.... either way, your pyro gets to live to see another turn. And if your opponent opts instead to shoot at your pyro with scouts that are shrubbed up, then he's going to have to spend that much longer with all his units trapped behind shrubs (except for the one that you freed of course)

The move rocks. There's some intense strategy with this that is unpredictable and like nothing I've imagined before...I just got out of a very interesting wisp duel (of which I won), and it was important because BOTH sides knew that whoever lost their wisp first would actually have the ADVANTAGE because of this move. Great stuff.

Anyways, have a nice Thanksgiving Weekend, folks...I'll be gone until Monday, hanging out with family, friends, and eating waaaay too much, watching sports, playing videogames...and just relaxing from work.

Everyone is thinking about the move wrong. It's not like people are going to start off the game and just try to shrub up, wait for you to kill something, then do it... It's something that will come later in the game. Take into consideration that you they could have killed one of your Scouts and a few other units, that they probably have other shrubs up at this point, etc... OF COURSE if they do it right off the bat it's going to be useless and irritating... But any player knowing what they're doing is just going to keep it in reserve.

Well, Netjak is about to change in a major way.

Something that has been eating at me for awhile came to a head yesterday, forcing me to take a step back and seeing what my clan is.

MY version of what happened will not be posted on the TAO forums, though I'm sure others may love to tell THEIR versions here if they wish.

As for me, I had to take some time and come to the conclusion that I really didn't want to admit...but the fact is that clan [netjak.com] has become more of a cult than a fun clan. Feelings, animosities, words, ideals....things have come up in this clan that have no business with us...they exist only in places that are actually serious.

And this TAO videogame is just that...a videogame. Nobody's getting paid by it, nobody's livelihoods are based on it, nobody's lives depend on it...yet we are capable of making up such a mountain of this in our minds that we act as if it is.

Then when you compare this to REAL life, those who DO have a life, you sit back and realize the foolishness of it all.

Foolishness.

Hence, I along with those in the clan who share these feelings are going to sit back and rethink the netjak concept...we will measure and balance, take and give away, dig up and bury beneath...and if the final solution doesn't come out to be FUN...then we'll try again.

And again.

And again....until we get it right.

For those who are netjak true, just hold on for awhile...watch and see.

For those who sense where I'm going with this and don't like it, take care, seeya later, and word up.

I really don't see two versions. What happened within the circle happened, and it happened over time. There are no events to be argued.

I feel this entire changing of the guard for netjak has happened with complete respect for the clan by us. Well, I forgot to mention...the whole thing about "dominating TAO" is already done. Been there, done that. I realize now that the cost of doing so is a price that I'm not going to pay...if it can't be done with a clear conscience, I really don't need to do it. :)

As for me, I had to take some time and come to the conclusion that I really didn't want to admit...but the fact is that clan [netjak.com] has become more of a cult than a fun clan. Feelings, animosities, words, ideals....things have come up in this clan that have no business with us...they exist only in places that are actually serious.

And this TAO videogame is just that...a videogame. Nobody's getting paid by it, nobody's livelihoods are based on it, nobody's lives depend on it...yet we are capable of making up such a mountain of this in our minds that we act as if it is.

Then when you compare this to REAL life, those who DO have a life, you sit back and realize the foolishness of it all.

Foolishness.

Hence, I along with those in the clan who share these feelings are going to sit back and rethink the netjak concept...we will measure and balance, take and give away, dig up and bury beneath...and if the final solution doesn't come out to be FUN...then we'll try again.

I think you already know this, but I'll say it anyway. I'm behind you 120%. You deserve a lot of props for being able to take the plunge, so to speak. I don't know how this game gets so serious for us all, but I imagine this was a lot harder for you to do than it should have been.

Being able to realistically look at where things stand is a mark of a great leader. I can't say how much I appreciate what you're trying to do here.

To those of you who left... I only hope you will take the time to consider from another perspective what's been going on in the clan.
