I can imagine how, for a woman, the Ninja Scroll series may be particularly offensive. However, the hero proves his respect for women in a time where there was no respect for them, by refusing to use her body(as the MONSTERS did, very symbolic) even though it meant saving his own life. RESPECT!

See, in the game "just before it" (as in 2 days earlier), I was owned entirely, I will admit. Not by skill, but by having manky formation and no first turn. He got me by 2 knights and a dragon in the end, all injured, but only thanks to some blocking, which still couldn't make up for the devastation I was faced with on my first turn.

I don't MYSTERIOUSLY have a screenie because MYSTERIOUSLY, I don't take screenshots of my losses in a tournament. :rolleyes:

In the game where skill was favoured over luck (ie. our initial positions were more even and I don't recall any key blocks at all), I own 12 by 7 units. Note that although I changed my form, it wasn't a counter to 12's form. Which was lucky really, because he changed form anyway. :)

Although yes, the game was closer than it looked, and I didn't have it in the bag until a short way into the endgame.

There is no other sport where the ability to run with your "feet" affects the game so directly, because in American "football", your position on the field is important to your ability to score. I would say much more so than in soccer, where the ball often goes the entire length of the field within seconds. In American football, struggling across the field is ESSENTIAL and quite naturally involves a lot footwork. In the history of the NFL, all of the best teams had a good "running" game and the ability to stop the "run", meaning your ability to move that ball across the field using your feet, and not through passing.

We also do directly use our feet through kicking field goals, which is also essential to the game, and kickoffs, which is a basic game mechanism.

You can use my account in Legends all you want...I don't care. The reason why it's at that rating is that I make it a point to play ANYBODY...even master greys with a 700 rating and 8 witches(which would DESTROY your new form, by the way)...so beware.

Kickoffs and field goals are not an excessive use of feet, but that doesn't mean feet are never used. I mean, you guys use your heads a lot in soccer too...doesn't mean you have no right for it to be called football.

And you're ignoring what Jeff and I said about the RUNNING game in football. Trust me, if you watch a football game, and understand the intricacies of the game, you'll have no problem with us calling it that.

You can use my account in Legends all you want...I don't care. The reason why it's at that rating is that I make it a point to play ANYBODY...even master greys with a 700 rating and 8 witches(which would DESTROY your new form, by the way)...so beware.
Well, whatever happened it was one hell of a good game (for a freestyle match), so let's not argue over it.

Kickoffs and field goals are not an excessive use of feet, but that doesn't mean feet are never used. I mean, you guys use your heads a lot in soccer too...doesn't mean you have no right for it to be called football.

And you're ignoring what Jeff and I said about the RUNNING game in football. Trust me, if you watch a football game, and understand the intricacies of the game, you'll have no problem with us calling it that.

*nod* I have seen a game (just didn't really understand it very well until about an hour in, and even then didn't understand parts of it), but I still don't LIKE the way Americans seem to think football can only mean their game. I mean, the rest of the world calls soccer football, you're the only ones who don't. Don't take my criticism of its name personally. :)

Good plan wack, but actually, most people are just spamming in the lobby for fun when a bunch of people are watching...and they hope no one reports them. They like being auto-booted for 2 hours after spamming. :p

I've done it...meh..its ok. You only get a warning the first time, next time you get banned, or you just don't get caught. :)

Stats mean nothing. You eventually learn that. People think you gain respect if you have high stats. But you don't. It's how you talk, and yuor personality.

But stats don't matter at all. Really, people think thats what it's all about. And it is really sad, and ruins the game. (Boosting, Cheating, ect.)

I played a great game on Legends against a player with 924 rating. It's so low because he tries to stat-rape people. I pointed out that that only matters if you care about rating, to which he replied "then why did you ask me?"

Rating is a subconcious desire for everyone. And, to an extent, it CAN be a guide to skill. But it's not foolproof.

I'm tempted to make a gold account with a low rating to stat-rape people who care too much about it too. :)
