Your definition of irony is as incorect as it is short. A word as complicated as irony can not be contained to a single sentance, lest it be a run on, or in your case, incomplete/incorect.

Irony:An upsetting of expectactions that results in a diametrically opposite outcome. Something that goes against what it should be. Situations involve some kind of blindness. Often times an illumination, or shift of vision. Some kind of doubleness of vision. Some irony is more bitter or dark, and often tiems there is a humbling of human pride. Also sometimes involving a justice or injustice.

Next time, do yourself a favor and refrain from flaunting your ignorance

Netjakkers, look at this. This is an example of good old-fashioned, netjak-pwnership. Repped.

Woah. Who says we're trying to imitate anything?

And Hool, if I happen to be writing on an unfinished work that fits the bill of Realist's contest, then I have every right to put it in. Realist is only lucky that I didn't put in MORE. And I'm lucky that he didn't want a non-fiction work, because I'm not writing that at the moment.

No where there is it said that he wanted anything specifically for the competition. I'm always writing and gave him a CURRENT, UNFINSHED piece, not something I've written BEFORE, and not a piece from my FINISHED book.

If he asked for a game review, then I wouldn't put up a FINISHED review though I have tons of those to draw from.

If you want to say that football is an imitation of rugby, fine. But to compare american football to football as practiced by the rest of the world is ridiculous. The only thing they share is a name.

Soccer is for athletes who are quick, dislike extreme physical contact, and have excellent coordination and conditioning. I think it is an excellent game but when I watch it, I feel like a sally. I'm sorry, but I need violence in my sports as part of my anger management regiment.

Well, I must say I'm disappointed with netjak legends greys...I put my "uber-grey" guy aside for a while, since there's not much more challenge there. I've been messing with a new grey, he's around 1200 right now and clanless - can't let people know who I am! But my 2 most recent netjak games were very disappointing.

First, someone0 kept asking for games from 1200+ players (this is about 2 weeks ago). On my uber-grey (who was then only about 1550-ish) I accepted. I clearly had the superior form and the game was mine from the get-go. Then he began to stall a bit. Basically, his only responses were "lol" or ":)" Finally, he either surrendered or just waited too long while stalling. Despite that, he hadn't been an ass or anything. But after the surrender popped up and I said "gg", his parting shot was "#### you". Since then, I've seen him asking for games several times, and every time I accept, he goes straight into a battle - twice with sub-900 players.

Second, sniper__master challenged me to a game, so I accepted. He killed my cleric pretty early and was crowing about his sure victory - not realizing that he'd sacrificed all his range (witch, mud, and scout) just to kill the cleric. My freezers were all at full health, as were most of my remaining units. As it became clear that he could not escape paralyzation, all of a sudden he realized that he had to go. He first said I should surrender because I was losing - that quickly changed once I froze a knight and LW. Then he started begging for a draw. I told him that he challenged me and was earlier bragging about a sure win, so why should I draw? Then he got very upset and started swearing at me. Of course, he lost. Funny too, he stuck around until the end...and I thought he had to leave.

I should have taken s/s, but I figured why bother? It's not as if they were cheating, and I don't expect any action to be taken. I'm just voicing some disappointment.

I hope these are aberrations in netjak...but from what I've seen, the clan has really gone downhill. I'm glad there are some of you who still have the spirit, but it's clear that netjak's peak has passed, at least in Legends. I hope the fps side is doing better. I'm very disappointed. I guess I got out at the right time.

Fry, the fact that you posted this on the open forums and not via pm, as these kind of complaints are properly done, proves that your intent here is to hurt us. Especially your last paragraph.

Meanwhile, though I will most certainly bear these things in mind and mention them to those you spoke about, I would need a screeny to truly bring an accusation to them.

I keep getting bombed by random people lately. This may be a newb question but I would like to know is there a specific method to take when facing one? I use a grey turt as my free there and my record is losing to an opponent with only 2 units left(I won one but with a lucky scout block). Is there a specific order of units to kill/protect. Just askin my clannys I'l be on legends soon:)

Wait, there was a topic?

Spread out your units to avoid massive damage from mages and focus your attacks on the DSM if they have 1 or more pyros. The LW is a must for a grey form defending against a bomb.

Eh, like I said, I didn't expect or want anything to be done to'em. Everyone gets a wee bit po'd at times..I haven't acted the gentleman in all of my games! I was just voicing my disappointment with a clan that I respected - which I have every right to do.

But I'm not going to get into an argument here. Any time that happens, all sides wind up talking past each other.

LosPollos, I'm glad you feel that way...netjak needs more attitudes like yours if it's going to keep going.

Geeky - yeah, I heard ozmaj left. Wonder what got him pissed off... And it's good that Botts is helping out - although he is by no means netjak old guard! He's an old timer, sure, but the netjak old guard, with a few exceptions, has basically pulled up stakes. But I do hope you "new guards" can get things back on track.

Didn't see Fry's post last night.

Fry, you know if you have any problems with netjak players you take it to the leaders. On Legends, that's 12, chiefst and myself (and oz if/when he gets back, because he's not gone, he's just really busy).

Someone0, aka mich, doesn't like losing at all, but in my experience he's an honourable player. Should you have any further problems with him, tell me and I'll have a word. S_s is a new addition to the clan, and we're still not at all sure about him. If he's swearing at opponents, he's GONE. Again, if it happens again take a screenshot and send it to me.

It's still not a good reason not to keep this to PM, though. I thought you were better than that.

Seed jumps on to play in Legends with an account that he thinks I don't know about...lol. So he is checking up on them. I don't see how he would view them as bad. The game is redeemed.

Once these new rules hit FPS, I'll bust out info and strategy because I don't want to be talking about stuff that most of the clan can't use at the moment.

"Aaaaah, finally," whispered Neptun as he climbed up the hill he knew very good. It was the hill that he climbed up every day in his childhood. His last journey was long and tiring, but it was all worth it. He still could not believe he managed to escape. It was his green shield and sword that saved him his life. At the top of the hills, his heart leaped of joy. The view he has been waiting for so long, his homeland, his life: The Green Forest. Absolutely nothing could make him feel bad now, not even the large black castle in the backround called Kajten. He marched forward to meet the lovely trees and bushes he has not seen for so long now. He was taking in lung-fuls of fresh air. But a denial from this amazing self-indulgence was urgent. The revenge for the things that made his heart bleed was carried out. His bretheren could rest in piece and that was all that mattered.

Everything was untouched, it looked as always. He noticed a mighty-looking archer with a green bow and scar on his left cheek hiding in the treetop. "How have you been, Tserof?" he asked. "Very nice to see you, Neptun. You sure had us worried about you," the scout replied. "Hah, where is she?" "Waiting for you by the well." The "she" expressed his love. A beatiful and charming enchantress called Ainaru. The well was not far and since he ran, it took him only a while to get to crook, from where he could see it.

Wisps were everywhere around him, singing beautifuly as he approached the back of the lady. "What brings you to these parts, brave warrior?" she asked. "Your lovely scream and your green bikini," he replied with a smile on his face. They kissed each other. "Any problems from Kajten recently?" "Nope. I think they have had enough of us, and since you killed the king, we should have a small pause to relax, I don't expect them to attack us with tears in their eyes. Many doubted you. The king, pyromancer Jamzo, burned out whole kingdoms and you were to kill him all alone." "Yeeea, the guy did not happen to be a very good "one on one" fighter," he added and winked. "What bothers me is his daughter," he continued."She is very strong now, she was there to help him. I got a bit lucky, I must say. But you know, luck is always involved. Tserof looks better now, although I doubt he will ever forget the fight." "True, your brothers, black knights, almost killed him. He got lucky our cleric found him. But enough of these bad memories. Rest is what you need now. I will introduce you to our new fighter tomorrow," she said with a determined look on her face and accompanied him to his tree. Those words reminded him of his comfy beatyful bad. He was too tired to argue, although the presence of someone he did not know in his forest bothered him. He was asleep before his head touched the pillow.

Unfortunately, it was not Ainaru's charming voice or the song of the wisps that woke him up. It was a sound of screams. One of the screams made your entrails freeze and the other one was a scream he has yet to get to know. His first thoughts were that Kajten's knights are attacking again so he just grabbed his green sword and rushed to help his comrades. He rushed around the well and ran to the crook. As he turned, he saw Ainaru with a person he did not know whose arms were patting Ainaru on her back. The enchantress was crying. As Neptun drew nearer, he began to slow down unwillingly and fell on his knees. His sword hit the ground and his hands were covering his face. It was Tserof's body lying on the ground next to a knight dressed in black armor who had several arrows stuck in the gap of his helmet. Several trees infront of him were on fire, other ones were put out by the wisps which were gyrating around the trees. He came closer to the horrifying scene crying. He bent down over Tserof's body ignoring the stranger who was eyeing him inquisitively. Tserof's legs were broken and he had a huge cut in his back. "He fell from the tree, probably because of the fire under him. There was no other way to escape from the burning tree," explained Ainaru with a trembling voice. "Atleast he took this pile of metal with him," the unknown person added and kicked the knight in the helmet. Neptun's sight followed the kick. He knew the knight. It was his brother Ramon. Hatred boiled in his blood. There was no one he hated more in that moment. He took Ramon's sword, removed his helmet with a smooth kick and cut off his head. It did not help him much, but it was a start. "Ramon, the knight of Kajten," said Ainaru. Neptun's eyes were looking at the stranger now. It was a woman. A beatiful woman dressed in a tight vesture. Her long dark hair brushed her shoulders by even a slight movement of her head. However, she seemed to be sneaky and dangerous. They looked in each other's eyes. "Her name is Lexip. I trust her fully, she saved the cleric's life," Ainaru said with tears in her eyes when she understood the situation. Neptun looked at Ainaru. "Revenge," he said. Nothing could hold him back and Ainaru knew it. "I am coming with you," added Lexip. "We all are going," said Ainaru with a determined voice, "I will send a message to the cleric too." She waved a hand and a wisp appeared near her. She whispered her something and the wisp disappeared again. "Can those things fight?" Lexip asked. "No, they are just the guardians of the woods, they hate metal and wars and love nature." "We will set off in two hours, we will meet by the well."

Neptun used the time to get in his armor and think of a plan. "Ainaru, listen carefully. Remember the sparky thing we used to look at when we were young? The guardian of the Kajten's castle?" he asked. "Yea," Ainaru replied. "I will get a hit from it and you will use the time it refreshes to paralyze it, when my other evil brother Yreffej, who is still alive(unfortunately), you will paralyze him with your beautiful voice too. Understand?" He asked. "Consider it done," Ainaru replied, slightly worried this time. "What about me?" Lexip asked. Neptun looked at her as though he completely forgot she existed. "You are coming with me, and maybe you will be able to hold off my brother a bit. It will all give me time to kill the queen. Do you have all you need with you?" They both nodded. "What about the cleric guy?" Neptun asked finally. "He said he will look in his book every now and then... Do not ask me what that means, you know how strange he is..."

They set off. The journey was tiring and they were not making any stops. They arrived at the castle in the evening. The guardian was looked as a tall building which consisted of three large tanchions and a huge diamond in the center. "Ok, this is it," Neptun said. He hugged Ainaru, kissed her on her forhead and looked directly in her eyes. After a while, he glanced at Lexip and waved her to follow him. He tried to rush past the Lightning ward and it looked like as he was going to make it, but it hit him near the gate. He let out a small gasp no one could hear. A scream cut the air. A scream he was used to. Lexip had to use her hands as earbuffs and still looked as though she was going to faint. Ther was no time for things like that, though. The gate opened and a huge knight rushed out of it. Ignoring Neptun, he was going straight for the source of the ugly voice. "Lexip, now!" Neptun shouted. Lexip jumped infront of the knight and they started to fight. Yreffej looked very surprised. Neptun rushed inside the castle and came to the queen's door. He knew the castle from his childhood, he used to live there. He knocked. "Come in," a soft voice replied his action. He knocked again. "I said come in," replied the person, slightly angered this time. Neptun knocked again. As soon as he heard the sound of someone walking towards door he took his sword in his both hands. When the door opened, he swung it and cut off one of the queen's arms. The queen let out a scream and waved her stuff. Neptun got hit by a wave of black acid. The pain was horrible and he could barely stand straight after it ended. "So we meet again," said the queen bleeding from her hand heavily. "Long time no see Evlewt." Netun knew he could do this. This time she was injured and he was up a hand. He heard steps from behind. "It is me, Lexip," she said, "the knight rests in peace now." "YOU??!" shouted the queen. Neptun turned back to her. "You two know each other? he asked lexip. The assasin smiled. The smile was evil and Neptun knew he was tricked. "Your precious Ainaru is dead, it was easy, she was just a naive girl who thought everyone was good inside. Your brother laid the final blow on her body." she said still smiling. "And you, my queen, are just a weakling. No such barbie should rule the greatest castles of all. You are nothing your father was." Neptun started to cry and tried to hit her. It was too late. Assasin made a quick movement, got between him and the queen and sliced him and the queen with her daggers. She killed them both. "You see? Life is just a one big arena, only the best can win and you two have lost this grey game."
