Well, I've purchased a Nitro RC car today. Runs souly on Nitrous. It cost me closely to about $600.00 But it was worth every cent. I tryed it out when I got home, after I broke the engine in. It clocked in at over 65 miles per hour. The thing just zoomed right past me. Im seriously going to buy a sticker that says netjak on it and put it all over the car. ;)

Hopefully I wont crash into a tree going 60 miles per hour with a little toy car. Even though it would kick ass to see it explode.

Don't smash it, shoot it with a 20 gauge as it zooms by. You have to take a shot of tequila or whiskey before every shot though = D

I have a Nitro RTR3 Evo 4 dodge viper gts-r. I run it on 70% methanol fuel which costs about £50 for 5 litres. It was meant to only go 45 mph running on 16% methanol. Now that I run it on 70% and have derestricted it, I can probably run it top speed about 80-90mph. It has carbon fibre everything and a tuned exhaust system. It had 4-wheel drive but I took it out and turned it into rear wheel to lay rubber down on the road (and it does!). It's now a 3 gear transmition to handle the extra speed, so I had to get a new gearbox and fit it. I have crashed it at around 65 before and believe me, it is not funny. it was not written off but it was severely smashed.
I will be hoping to get a 75 mph (standard) twin-engined monster truck with a shell of a Ford F-150 SVT Lightning for around £460 and derestrict both engines for about 120mph.
That is a very nice car though. Traxxas make some very good and robust cars. My viper is an HPI racing engine on a hot bodies chassis. I was going to get a traxxas and thought no, I will get an HPI racing car.

I had a remote control car once. It was called White Thunder, it was pretty sweet. Came with a remote and all, went foward, and backwards! You controled both wheels at once, and get this, you could make it go right and left. It probably could get up to 10 mph on a smooth downhill slant, uphill was about 5 mph.

4 AA batteries, and a 9-volt for the remote. So much fun.

I have one that runs on 3 AA's. So we mounted a 9volt camcorder battery in it. (cut out slot in roof, and ran wired to the leads.)

Little car got up to almost 20mph before we flipped it out off the sidewalk, and a bus hit it.

We can play nitro rc car chicken. You try to smash me and I will try to shoot it before it hits me. My weapon of choice, a trusty 2 gauge elephant gun loaded with bird shot. I figure at <20 feet I can disintegrate it with my eyes closed, then take the bottle from the minors and polish it off before I piss on the remains. I will challenge Jeffery at work for my encore.

i took my car to a long flat strip of road today which is about 500 metres. the range is bang on 500 metres on my radio and receiver (crazy I know). Anyway. we had a speed clock at about 350 metres and i got 86.754 mph clocked and it stopped in 150 metres. so yeah that is about the top speed i can get (so far). I can still lighten it further and put higher performance items into it.

Okay, After school today, my dad and i went out on an old deserted street to see which of our cars can handle the rough road. I have a fully tuned suspension, while he has Monster truck. Which runs on the same fuel. Alright, this is the fun part. Since the front of my car was slanted downward and my dads was a monster truck, i came up with the idea, of making the cars go full speed straight at eachother. I ran down the road about 50-100 yards. We then just blasted the cars straight at my car just barely got smased, but instead, my dads car went about 10 feet in the air, and it made a complete 540 degree rotation, and landed about 30 feet from the crash site. My car ran into my dads foot. :dry:

The moral of this story, Going 60+ mph at a monster truck with a 1:10 scale race car is freakin awesome!

My dad ended up busting his exhaust. But its all good.

Anythings fun when you have something as powerful as that. I have some stories back home on Snowmobiles. Bad though, Went out with my friend after they had a snow storm and I think we had gotten about 6 inches of the storm while we already had about 6 inches on the ground. So we took his dads ramp that he had too use for construction too unload and load things and yea. We kinda set that along the highway while no one was around and went back and foruth into a ditch and edventually the retarded torqued the trannsmission in the air and he blew that out and got it stuck in the ditch. His dad got a little pissed at us but he forgave us:p

Nitrous arent built into these cars as standard its just the petrol that it runs on is nitro-methanol.

What I meant is that to join on Rev, you need to snag the leader on your main server, and get them to "try" you out. We're allowing each server to invite members on Rev as they see fit. You don;t have to join on the main server, but you'll need a main server leader to get you in onj rev.
