Yesterday, I played kovoi (Netjakker on banff who is, or was, ranked 78 overall). That was one of the most fantastic TAO games I ever played. It came down to this:

Me:

DT [about 50 health] (wait 3 turns)
Cleric (Wait 1 or 2)
Stoney

Him:
Wisp [2 health]
Scout [8 health] wait one turn
Stoney [24 health]
Furgon [28 health]

It looks like I would win, (if I killed his scout would've at least drawed) but his wisp AND scout were in range of my DT, and there were shrubs everywhere. It could've gone either way. We didn't finish because kovoi's internet chumble spuzzed, my word(s) for "spazzed," and he got kicked off.

Nonetheless, he said if I wanted to get into Netjak, he would put in good word for me, you can ask him. ;).

Folks, my new job is...

You know, I didn't think I would get it because it was so perfect. I was like, "Because it's so right for me, I won't get it."

But I got it. And after last week's orientation, I'm realizing that it's even BETTER than I thought it was...I'm just...sitting here blown away.

I'll be moving into my new apartment this Saturday.

My whole life has been gearing up and getting experience for this moment. All of the good times, all of the bad times, all of the time that I spent doing work that I thought meant nothing...it all makes sense now because it all led to this.

I know it sounds cheesy, and I always thought it was...but now I know it to be true; keep working towards your goals and KEEP IT UP! If you don't give up, even in the worst of times, and even when people criticize you and tell you to do something else...DO WHAT YOU WANT and you'll GET WHAT YOU WANT!!! Even if it takes years...
