New clans really do have it rough, its a catch-22 for them;
They are new so dont have any members, no player of any skill wants to join a new clan that is untested. To get any members they have to have an open invite policy and the only people they will attract are new players and the undesirable ones that were kicked out of other clans.

Maybe the best tip for a new golds is this, just because you have the ability to make a clan, doesnt necessarily mean you should.
