How many licks does it take?

Ok this has been on my mind for like a long time, how many licks does it really take to get to the center of a Tootsie Roll pop????

May sound stupid but man, I was licking my sucker for a long time, then I couldnt help but chop on it......does anyone really just sit there and lick it all day?

And if you do like to just plunge right in, do you work it with your tongue? Or just kind of use your hand to roll it around in there? When you get to the end, what do you do then? Do you usually pull it out and get rid of it? Or do you try to swallow the rest of it after you get the good stuff?

I try to do it all the time but I almost just end up leaving it my mouth cuz the licking get's tiring. I think the most I've done was around 500...(yes I was sitting there like a loser in class licking a lollipop 500 times)
