So I'm in the lobby, trying to find a gold game. Nobodies taking my up on my challenge though. Just as I'm about to leave, I see some Paulstan spamming the lobby for a game on floor 6, so I jump him. I'm using an anti-rush, he, a rush.

So, the game begins. After a few moves, I attack his wisp with my knight. He decides to share his infinite wisdom with me. It looked something like this:

Paulstan: WRONG!!!

He then heals and tells me I should have used my dragon. I roll my eyes and use my dragon next turn, killing the wisp anyways.

I told him I didn't need his help, and game went on. But not so long after that, tells me the exact same thing again. I once again informed him that I didn't need his help, but when he started insulting me, I began throwing a few back.

Next thing you know, you have a full-scale insult contest, much like the ones you yourself had in second grade. He goes on about how he's undefeated and how he's crushing me. I rolled my eyes, and game went on.

Suddenly, he tells me WRONG!!!, again. I told him to shut up, and he started throwing every concievable insult at me, including mocking my country (even though he didn't know what country I was from), and other things. At one point he accused me of practicing "doublespeak" because I wondered if he was abused at a younger age.

In the end, he played well and managed a win with three units and a lot of knight blocks.

Then, he threw one last insult and left. Rather annoying, but I do want a rematch.

I played a kid double gold vs. my grey on Legends once... he kept telling me what I should have done.

In the end, he outlucked me by a LOT but I outplayed him by a LOT and pulled a draw. He had like 400 higher stats than me, and after he had told me to "go ahead and cry" cause he was gonna beat me so bad, my final comment after making my draw-forcing move was "Draw. Game. Cry. Bitch."

Usually when baishes like that talk to me, I just ignore them, and then play harder to own them, just to shove it in there faces.

Thanks Crx. The comment he made was something along the lines of: "...geez, what are you, Canadian?"

Interestingly enough, I am Canadian...not that I let him know that.

No offense to you... I mean, this guy WAS being a total prick and all, but...

You should have used the Dragon.

34 - 28 + 12 - 18 = 0...

The only difference between using the Knight/Dragon and the Scout/Dragon is that the positioning on the Scout is much better after attacking than it would be on a Knight, especially for an anti-rush.

Plus, using the Dragon first allows for multiple possibilities with your next move... If you Knighted first and he healed, you'd HAVE to use the Dragon to kill it, whereas Dragoning first would allow you to kill it with anything stronger or as strong as a Scout, even if he healed. The difference is the priority order.

Looks like Crx found a chump to neg. :p

Maybe I should play this kid. I just got off my fifth loss with my turtle setup against Bodexxx, first to beat it since WaCk... I need to vent on someone.

Him and one other person do tat to me when we play. Don't believe his undefeated bullshit. Last time I played him I beat him by 4, even with him screaming WRONG! every 3 moves. Some other n00b gold bombed my anti and said good game like after every time he killed a unit.....I won by a knight, frost and drag.

yea i hate them people on rev and stuff who have stats like 600 or 700 with a bomb that is quite powerful aginst your set up, they think they are really good because they beat someone but actually its because they used a bomb that is very effective over your set up, well my set up is very effective by bombs. (oh dam shouldn't of said that on the tao forum) :D

LT, I disagree. Sometimes, getting the knight out into enemy territory REALLY helps (since he can reach pyros and such easier), whereas the scout already can target any unit he wants to. Also, by using the knight first, he can use it again the turn after the wisp dies, which gives him more options. Plus, had he dragonned first the guy wouldn't have wasted his turn healing ;)

Lonely Tylenol: Hmmmmm, I get what you're saying. Had I used the dragon first, I probably still would have finished with a knight though, as I didn't want to move my scout. But that still makes a lot of sense.

Crack Class A: Had he been a grey AND beaten me, I'd be doing a bit more than moan about it on the forums... :roulette:

Unfortunatly though, my set is rather weak against a bomb. It is better against a wisp, as I thought I would be facing wisps more often than bombs (unfortunatly, the first 3 games with the setup were against bombs  ).

Razor2007: I know he isn't undbeatable. When I got on a day or two ago, I checked his stats. They had dropped from 1340 or so to 1310.

EDIT: Office Shredder: His wisp was in my territory, not his.

The best way to get into someone's head who thinks they're undefeatable is by asking them if they've played the top ranked player on the server. Get them to brag. Then tell them that they suck, they'll probably type 'NO' which is the funniest thing I've ever seen.
