A Turtorial for Noobs

I donno if some1 has ever done this b4 if they have it prolbably isnt like mine


I think there should be a flr souly for ppl who dont know how to play or suck a.k.a. noobs l So in my eyes there would be an added flr that either says Tutorial flr or something like that and a *noob* would go to this flr and jump in an arena (arenas on this flr only have room for 1 person making more arenas for *noobs* to play the tutorial) and then they would be put in a game against a noob CP and the CP would go first and when it did something a little box came up and explained how to do it. A movie is another likely source for the tutorial explaining (in writing) and or vocalizing what to do and showing how to do it. Both very simalar I think this could raise the amount of ppl who would play and maybe the amount of ppl who become gold and with more golds there would be more funding to do things such as making new units, servers, upgrades, ect.

This could greatly help TAO in many ways and possibly raise paychecks for the great ppl who help made TAO what it is today!!! :wink2:

firstly, fix your grammar and spelling. Its so awful that its hard to take anything you write seriously.

there's an instruction page and multiple threads to aid players, no need to hold their hand and give them so much. If you'd like to make a demo movie, go for it ;)

well I was making this thread cuz I have seen over 30 golds ask how to play in the lobby cuz they r too stupid to read the fricking directions maybe they should make a bigger link so ppl will actually look and see what the instruction they r easily over looked and noobs dont usually go to the forums right when they start the fricking game

if they're not smart enough to bother to read the instructions page even AFTER they've paid $5 for a gold account, do you really think that a floor or a movie would help them?

Even if we did this you have to consider the languages of the people playing. Most speak english, but some don't. Even then FAQ's and instuctions are clear enough.

Actually, a movie about how to play would be awesome. Remember how much better nads' screenshot stuff was than the [ code ] tag letter stuff? That would be one step further, I think.

Though I still think it would be annoying and long to make, would require skills that I don't have, and would encourage people to stop reading for strategy, but other than that, it's a pretty good idea.

I think a movie would kinda be cool, you could have 1000 clowns with Jeffery as the Clown leader telling you the do's and don'ts of TAO, and maybe some sort of interactive questionair, so whenever you answer something wrong, then Jeffery's face appears and harrasses you for 10 mins.

4) Floors 1-9

Well this 'noob CP' of yours would cost money to upgrade and stuff. You know how Bills likes to keep his money safe and sound.

By the way, I really think they should get this made, so you can go play on it. The non-'vie' posts explain it all, read the instructions, the rules, ect.

N00bs will not look for one. A newb often will. The n00bs will suck at the game for a long time. Most newbs quickly take the advice given, and build upon it.

pls don't post public responses to private reps/pm's. If you want to respond to them, do it likewise in a rep or, more preferably, a pm. Also, people can neg you for whatever they damn well please.

You don't have to listen to what they say of course (thats what the ignore function in the forums is for), but if you do a little public outcry each time someone gets down on you, its just going to cause others to get down even more.

Some punctuation in your typing would be a nice change though. Aside from "I will post the way I want" people tend to judge you somewhat based on the means you communicate (and the I don't care attitude doesn't really work when your posting in a public forum or responding to a rep, since it means you obviousl do). By cramming it all together without spacing or punctuation, you convery a childish and immature manner to others. Not saying thats how you are, just how it could look to someone reading your writing. Plus, it makes it hard to read or understand what you're saying. Those english class skills aren't just for in the class you know, they're meant to be used ;)
