These hunters mean no one harm. All they want to do is be able to hunt enough food to feed their families. Therefore, they have perfected a method of hiding in shrubs and cleanly hitting their target through the dense foliage. They have also learned to creep silently through the forests. Although ill-suited for combat, they have been recruited.

Name: Hunter
HP: 30
Power: 16
Armor: 5
Movement: 3
Range: 4
Block: ---
Recovery: 1 turn

Special Ability: When attacking, this unit ignores Shrubs in LOS and can enter and stay in a square occupied by a Shrub (this unit cannot attack a Shrub). Opponent cannot see which Shrub the Hunter is hiding in. When hiding in a Shrub, the Hunter's armor is increased TO (not by) 75.

Tactics: Make sure you have a Furgon. Best used against someone who has a Furgon.
Keep him in the Shrubs, it protects him. Then pick off people.
To reveal a Hunter, wait until a unit attacked by the Hunter blocks. Use your scout to shoot out a Shrub in the direction that the shot came from. Send in your Mud Golem to that empty square (or now revealed Hunter), and use mud-quake. (That does work on shrubs rite?)
They can't block, so only the high armor offered by hiding in Shrubs can protect them. Even Lightning wards can only deal 8 damage.
Healing a Hunter when one is hiding in Shrubs, will reveal their position. The animation will look like a Shrub being healed.

Hmm... Is the attack blockable? How does paralysis and poison work since neither of them effects shrubs?

Funny. I would have thought that Forest Archer would have come up w/ this unit.

This is basically a Scout that likes plants.

READ THE GUIDELINES!!!

Excessive flaming shall occur for the next person to post a unit who has obviously not done his homework.

What would you say the Scout is used the MOST for? Correct me if I'm wrong. You use him because you can use those fancy LOS shots right? Think about it. The Hunter only has 4 range. This prevents him from using most of them (I believe the only one he can do is chess knight shot).

Oh good, so you took a good unit and made it completely useless!!
Look at this unit.

Of what use is this unit? Oh, in the event that there is a shrub I can shoot through it? That is the ONLY thing this unit is good for, and it is a really lame thing to be good for.

This unit is worse than the Scout in every way except freaking recovery! It would be a huge waste to have in a game that did not involve frugons, and I'm pretty sure I would rarely use it in a game with furgons.

The MAIN reason for using a Scout is not fancy LOS shots, it is ranged attack. The LOS just make the unit more fun and chalanging tactically.

This is a bad unit, with no purpose. You should move on and get over it.

Post Script: I really want to write more because this is the epitome of annoying, someone defending a horrible unit and doing it with additude, but I am pretty sure if I keep going I will say something to get me temporarily banned from the forums.
