Ok, so I had a grey game vs. Wolfman.... I had a pimping setup, but never used it before so it had some serious flaws that hurt me bad... anyways, I'm not talking about the game. I'm talking about after the game (weird, right?). Ok, and the end of the game.
So it comes down to my two knights at 33 and his knights at 50 and 33. I retreat back to my LW. He moves his knights into position, and tries for a side attack. Naturallly, he hits. So I LW his knight, then take a swing at it. He blocks. Then things get out of control. He proceeds to make a mockery of the blocking system as my knights die like flies and his are unhittable. So it comes down to his two knights that need two hits each, versus my knight that needs one hit, and a just recovered LW. So he takes a swing, my knight blocks, I LW his knight, and he moves that knight behind mine. Then he says "I hate to hit him in the back, so I won't." And ends his turn. At this point he still has two knights, so I need to take out the LWed one and be in the corner. Which I can only do with a front attack. So I take a stab at him, and hit! He moves his knight in for the side attack, and I block. I take another front stab.... and hit again! He takes a last ditch side attack as he retreats and I block again, getting me the draw!
Of course, he had already won the game before all that, so I gave him the win, but still....
why did my knights have to wait so long for that?
