I was thinking of a name for my new unit, I took one look at LTs avatar, and I just couldnt resist. Im sorry :(
The Elite:
HP:44
Attack Power:18, (10+health lost/2)
Attack Pattern:1 square any direction, (3 squares ahead in a straight line)
Armor:5%
Blocking:50% (front) 25% (sides)
Movement:3
Recovery:1 (2)
These humans have spent their entire life in physical training, with the result that they are able to weild giant steel weapons. Their weapon of choice is often a massive warhammer. These gigantic people weild their weapons with devastating effect, striking fear into the hearts of their enemies as their battle fury grows.
Special Effects:
+As a special attack called Battle Fury, The Elite can strike the ground directly in front of him with his hammer, causing damage to units on any of the 3 spaces in a straight line in front of him.
+The Elite deals damge with his special attack directly proportionate to his health. The more health he loses, the stronger his Battle Fury grows. The amount of damage he causes to the 3 units is equal to: The amount of health he has lost divided by 2 plus 10. Example:
The elite has 14 health left. This means he has lost 30 health. 30/2=15 and 15+10=25, so when The Elite is at 14 health he causes 25 damage with his battle fury attack
+When The Elite uses Battle Fury, he requires 2 turns to recover, whether or not he has moved in that turn.
+Every time Battle Fury is used, The Elite loses 1 attack power.
Notes:
-Just so that it would be hard to get The Elite to a low amount of HP, he has only 5 armor, so a witch or knight could easily take out a weakened Elite. This means use of Battle Fury requires careful planning.
-So that Battle Fury wouldnt be the only way to use The Elite well, I gave him a reasonable attack strength.
-Be careful when you use Battle Fury, as using it when it wont serve you well will cost The Elite attack power.
Strategy (I might add more):
-Using a stone golem on your Elite would work perfectly. Please dont say this would overpower him, because remember, a Dragon Tyrant with +30 armor is no laughing matter either.
-This unit would be great if you are making a mid game rush, and your opponent has moved his units in to defend and accidentally put a few of them in line with each other.
COMMENTS:
I have worked very hard to come up with a unit worthy of the Tao CAU section. I tried to make his special attack pattern unique so that he wouldnt be similar to any existing units (I was tempted to make a Mud Golem-like attack, but I decided to be a little more creative).
I hope you all like my unit. :D
