Old, tired, and played out.
Learz, maybe you could make a "Learz's copy/paste" from the net thread for all the stuff you want to share?

Saw it a week ago, although still finny, it's charm is somewhat lacking as it was then.

i laughed histerically when bush announced he would take for responsibility for the federal governments lack of support for hurricane relief. And that picture is funny too. And to all the Bush supporters, the rebuilding of New Orleans will cost around 200 billion dollars, and to make a levy system that would adequately protect the city from a level 5 hurricane, would cost 2 and a half billion, which Bush cut funding for in 2002. They have the 2 1/2 biilion dollar number from seeing the cost to build the flood protection system in the netherlands area. Too bad Bush, i guess nature opposes your budget plan also. This is in no way trying to be mean to Bush supporters, im sure your all very nice people.

Actually, before you throw more wrong numbers around...
The funding for levee repair and build up that was cut had 0 dollarsgoing to any of the places where the levee broke. If the money had been spent fully, the levee system still would have failed because none of the broken spots would have been built up.

I liked the Daily Show's bit on that Bush "I take full responsibility..." line.
That was some good laughing.

yes i have heard the argument that where the system failed, was where they had just begun to build up, but they were not fully through with building it up, only about 60% done, and Bush still had another 40 million dollars going towards the project, but cut funding in order to have sufficient funds for his war in Iraq. And yes, the bit on the Daily Show was quite funny.
