I was excited because the Texans were supposed to have gotten better...and were expected to do good...now i have lost my hope in them. But they are still better than the Cowboys :p

No they are not. They will get close. (The panthers just beat them FYI)

My list will be soon.

Well I can tell you one dud. Jamal Lewis! He's on my fantasy team and he just got me -1 points. DAMN HIM! Luckily Owens got me 19 today :D

My analysis:

Arizona: Kurt Warner is too old. People have been praying for his spark for a while, and not getting it. JJ and Larry are going to be slid players in due time, but are too young. Even if they work well and have a "successful" year there are too many teams better then them.
Arizona: Dud Rating: 27th

Atlanta: No great recievers to throw too. But Warrick, Alge and Vick along with a solid coach and a nice speed team and defense will work together well. Look for them losing first round. I just don’t like Atlanta this year…
Atlanta: Stud Rating: 14th

Baltimore: Well, I was counting on some solid defense from these buggers, but its been downhill 2 weeks in a row. Sadly, their defense was their only hope of a playoff birth, and it doesn’t look like its going to happen this year. Oh, and Jamal Lewis. But…Kyle Boller….good god. All Kyle’s in this league are horrible.
Baltimore: Dud Rating: 21st

Buffalo: All I have to say is JP Losman and the new offense was the dumbest decision ever. Great playmakers on offense; Moulds, McGahee. Bad offense strategy. Plus some great defensive players; Spikes, Fletcher, Vincent. But I just don’t see it happening. Close, but no cigar.
Buffalo: Dud Rating: 18th

Carolina: Lost to a team that I think is going to go a long way. AKA: They’re still good. And they just beat NE. So…they’re better then just “good.” Young too. And have depth. Look for them in the quarterfinals.
Carolina: Stud Rating: 7th

Cincinnati: Finally, the Bengals are a team!! It took forever! And they have beautiful jerseys!! One of the best passing games in the league- Cincinnati. Which is bold to say, considering Peyton and the Colts are still around. But, remember, it came from this mouth. Chad Brown = MVP. Housh = MVP too…lol.
Cincinnati: Stud Rating: 6th

Chicago: Another Kyle at QB. Chicago may have an RB and a half, but that’s not enough to make the playoffs. Its been 15 years. It’ll be 15 more.
Chicago: Dud Rating: 23rd

Cleveland: sucks. Defense sucks. Offense sucks. Cleveland sucks. 2nd worst dud. 2nd. I mentioned 4 people too, and yet none of them really would be mentioned if they played for any other team then the Browns.
Cleveland: Dud Rating: 31st

Dallas: Defensive genius as their coach…defensive team = almost playoff birth. They will die Because they don’t have a powerful offense. And their QB is old. Look for this D to stop some big name RB’s to less then 60 yards, though.
Dallas: Stud Rating: 19th

Denver: Jake Plummer! blows Broncos will win some games this year with Rod and some defense. But they wont make the playoffs.
Denver: Dud Rating: 26th

Detroit: My hometown hero, Joey Harrington is leading this team all the way into the ground. Shitty team, sweet jerseys, and a good tight end. That adds up maybe one win this year. Against Cleveland or San Fran.
Detroit: Dud Rating: 29th

Green Bay: They will take Brett to the playoffs, once again. It’s a habit, every year. But they are not good enough to win it all again. That’s a habit, every year. I hope he retires after this. Death in round 1.
Green Bay: Stud Rating: 12th

Houston: Yes, they are the worst team, again. Yes, it will be a while before that’s not the truth. But Jacksonville and Carolina did it in 10 years. Lol. Year 3, here we come. Bad Defense. Rookie offense. No go. Not even close to go.
Houston: EXTREME Dud Rating: 32nd

Indianapolis: Best offense. Good defense. Not really much to say about them except that they need new jerseys and they kick ass. Even in slow weeks for Peyton, they just hand it to Edgerrin. Win/ win. No losses this year. But not my superbowl pick…They’ll lose in the semi’s. Would be finals if the superbowl winner wasn’t in their conference.
Indy: Stud Rating: 2nd

Jacksonville: Another first round loss, probably. But they will make the playoffs. They DID beat seattle. Though I don’t think that really means too much, because seattle kicks arse.
Jacksonville: Stud Rating: 9th

Kansas City: Priest, Tony, Trent, and an allstar offense. They will be in the playoffs, but I don’t think they will go far, surprisingly. Injury will hurt them.
KC: Stud Rating: 11th

Miami: Got very lucky and played well. That could be their only win this year. Frerotte. That just makes me laugh. What happened to Dan!!?!?!
Miami: Dud Rating: 28th

Minnesota: Started out bad, and will end bad. Randy left, and Daunte’s confused. Sucks to be the guy who picked Daunte in Fantasy football.
Minnesota: Dud Rating: 20th
New England: Yea the pats are good again, but they did just lose, and they will lose again. Once they make the playoffs, they’ll get harder, but lose. There are better teams then the Pats this year, and they are going to find it out very soon.
NE: Stud Rating: 4th

New Orleans: These guys can ball. They beat Carolina and and are a fast paced accurate team, with solid running. They will find the endzone a lot. 2nd round of the playoffs.
NO: Stud Rating: 8th

New York Giants: Look for Plax and Amani to catch some deep balls and sneak into the playoffs from Eli. Only reason they’re here, is because I cant include Oakland, because I can only have 8 from each conference. And I would Mos Def pick Oakland over NYG
NYG: Stud,barely. Rating: 16th

New York Jets: The other New Yorkers will earn there way into the playoffs the hard way, just beating out Atlanta for the position. They could win first round, If they play well, but most likely not.
NYJ: Stud Rating: 13th

Oakland: Another one of my close picks. I don’t think they, will make the playoffs.. Just behind Dallas and the Giants. And I have Kerry as my QB, so I hope he has a good season, which I think he will, however.
Oakland: Dud Rating: 17th

Philadelphia: The best National conference team…maybe. I’m still in the air of who will win…Seattle or Philly…because they will play in the playoffs this year, either early or in the semi’s. I’m going to go with Philly, I think. Seattle has shown weakness in their QB, already. Matt sucks it up and plays great, Seattle will run away with it.
Philly: Stud Rating: 3rd

Pittsburgh: Ah….I’ve finally got to my team…THE team. The one and only. Steelers. Its Cowan’s year. He’s going to take it all. He now has THREE good running backs (I have parker…oh yea), so he will virtually control the clock how he pleases in every single game. Not only that, but Ben is getting better by the minute, and his receivers are catching this year. Randle El is also the most dangerous returner ever. But, on top of all that, Pitty has one HELL of a defense. They can run down guys in the blink of an eye. Fast, strong, skilled. They’re my superbowl winners.
Pittsburgh: SUPER Stud Rating: 1st

San Diego: They will do well this year with Brees and Tomlinson. Their defense could be better, but is fast. Plus Antonio Gates is solid at blocking and catching. They will go to first round, maybe 2nd.
SD: Stud Rating: 10th

San Francisco: Well, I named Tim Rattay. And that’s it. Because they have nobody else. And even Tim sucks, I just felt I had to say someone. Only Cleveland and Houton could possibly be worse.
San Fran: Dud Rating: 30th

Seattle: Started out a bit rocky against Jacksonville, but they will bounce back. When Matt has a good game, they will not lose. If Matt gets frustrated, they culd very easily. Its all a question of Matt, and I think he’ll mature a bit this year, and take them all the way down to the final 6.
Seattle: Stud Rating: 5th

St. Louis: Bad. I don’t see how they won the superbowl so long ago. Kurt sucked afterward, and now he’s not even here. Faulk, who’s still with them, got the Madden curse and now he blows too. They still have receivers, but Bulger wont have a great season.
St Louis: Dud Rating: 25th

Tampa Bay: The final team in the playoffs. Well, final that I will talk about, but they will be 2nd to last. They’ve started out strong. I think they’ll weaken toward the end, but the first half of the season will get them a birth. Lose in first round.
Tampa: Stud Rating: 15th

Tennessee: Air McNair isn’t so great anymore, and they don’t have anyone to back him up. The Titans are just as bad as the Oilers were in the 90’s. Well, they wanted that team.
Tennessee: Dud Rating: 24th

Washington: They have Portis and some somewhat good receivers. Not bad. Santana, David (with a new team.) Now, look at their QB. And….thats why they aren’t in the playoffs. Plus Clinton cant get in the endzone like you’d think he’d be able too. Work over the summer, pick up a good D player and QB, and you got yourself a team.
Washington: Dud Rating: 20th

although pitt is a good team, i've gotta disagree. 'specially since my pat's arent in your analysis. yeah, they lost today. but i think that it's because they are under the microscpoe and they know it. if they keep doing what they've done in the past and stop thinking about the zebra's, then they'll 3-peat. if not, it's gunna be a LONG season.

oh, and i'd like to point you to how the pat's made pit's defense look the past few seasons. :p

You made a mistake, you put the Superstud under the wrong PA team. Easy to do. Just switch to the Eagles, and everything will be just right.

I disagree with this. Not about the ranking, or the Stud/Dud title.

Tennessee is the youngest team in the league. I think the average age on the team is 24 or so. Also, half the team is made up of rookies from '04 and '05. So they're not as bad as much as they are young and inexperienced.

McNair did excellent on Sunday, considering he was up against the best seconday in the league. He threw around 200 hundred yards, which is quite good considering he doesn't really have great recievers(Bennett is under-rated, but I don't think he's established himself as McNair's "Go-to-Guy" just yet), and had one touchdown and no turnovers. And despite the team's horrific showing in Pittsburgh, McNair put up better numbers there than he did vs Baltimore.

McNair has the weapons, and the Titans may be able to surprise a few teams...that is, if they can stay healthy.

hahahaha, i actually laughed out loud when i read this one. at least the steelers have a TEAM. the eagles have a qb who's sick of dealing with all the coaching crap. and they have a WR who thinks he's god's gift to the game. it takes more than two guys to make a team. just like kurt warner for the cardinals is a GREAT thing, if the offensive line can get off their asses so he doesnt end up on his back every other play. the next person who says the eagles are a great 'team' is going to get a swift kick in the ass from me.

ok, pat's beat the stealers, even though they are down three or so starting offensive linemen. i feel better now. at least they are deep where they need to be.
