Unfortunately my list depends on the other captains' picks, as I am judging which seems the strongest team and picking people who would do well against that team. (No, I'm not telling you which team I consider the biggest threat. :p) Therefore I can't just send you my list and you pick according to that. I know that would speed things up, but I would prefer to pick my own team.

Let's all be patient. In his original post, Mithrandir said this thing would take 2-3 weeks to get off the ground, and we're not into week 2 yet.

As the only non-GL-based leader, I feel I have the best overview of all the players... most of the players picked so far have been from GL, as they pick their clan mates and players they know are good, but I've been able to pick up some high-quality Army and Banff players quite cheaply :)

Once the draft finishes though, there is no telling how long the trading process will take. It could be done in a day, with all the leaders unwilling to cooperate with each other or it could take weeks, with lots of negotiations, suggestions and deals.

At least the roster part should go quick.

First off, wow this is one long tournament we are looking at but I can't wait to see the final showdowns. There are some awesome teams...don't want to wait to see who I get sparred against...choose quickly please!

Second, Mithrandir can you post the rules about what will be considered a turtle into the front of the team selection link. I can't seem to remember what page it was on and with 29 its' taking forever to find 'em. I want to do a few warm up rounds so I want to make sure everythings legit. Plus I think it would be beneficial for everyone to have a quick reference into the official defenition.

Not true. Instead of going with players that have specific skills, I went for groups that were the most well-rounded and when selecting members with certain strong points, I made sure to space them out to get the ones I wanted. :yes3: My pre-planned selections went by using simple calculations, and I must say I am for the most part pleased with the picks they've given me.

By the way, I believe Deathwish was already selected.
