Us moderators are very lazy and not creative, lease give us as many ideas of what new prizes we could give. We currently have:
- Give special avatar
- Give extra rare units

If you can think of grey prizes too that would be cool. Also try to make the prizes not too techincally difficult and not too big.

What about a gold on other servers. If they're gold on Army, then you give them banff or GL gold too.

Or give them different units... the only units i've seen given is a frosty... two frosty isn't too practical in most cases. (PW too... but still...)

Maybe two furgs, muddies, beast riders. Other rare things.

I Like your ideas, but some are a little farfetched, the 1 knight and banner or avatar might be able to be done, but the rest just seem a little too far out there. Nice ideas tho.

hmmmmm unrated is good... it would probably take a lot of programming but ectra unit colours... tourney winners page is deffinitly a good idea. Tourneys are generally for golds only so gey prizes are irrelivant. On legends the people who won or came in 2nd and 3rd in the first tourney got their units named. THAT would be a awsome prize. The unrated account with extra units would be a massive prize and would need to be for a mega tournament as would the others I have mentioned.

cyrus bloodbane on legends has a knight that isnt called a knight its called something else but it has the stats of a knight. Triarch has a sotnie named the ig bopper I believe also on legends. it acts like a stonie but is named the big bopper.

I think that you're all forgetting about pink polka-dotted dragon and tie-dye hippie scout avatars. Those would make excellent prizes, especially if you could name them, along with extra color-schemes for your team.

A grey prize? Hmmm. Why not just give them a gold unit and try to hold tourneys right after wipes? (though it would cause trouble if they suddenly decided to upgrade...) Think, think... Give them a clan, maybe? I dunno... and I'm a grey so I really should know what I want.

Make a grey escape wipe is not possible.

Giving gold an extra month(s) of free gold status is also not possible because it won't feet into our system, and we cannot afford changing the logic of the system only because of the tourney prize.

Giving unranked account is possible but it is not a very good idea because we have to somehow keep an eye on all such accounts, so it probably also won't be done.

Page with tourney winners would be good if we had only one official tournament. How to deside if the winner of a tourney deserves to be on that list or no? It will be the same unpleasant situation like with tourney prizes now.

Increasing player rank is easy to do, but I think it is not very fair.

If you get first place, you would get all shiny gold units(as seen on trophies), and if you got second, you'd get all silver(obviously). That kind of prize is a little bi dramatic. If we are talking about rev, i could go in right now, trade 900 stats for an extra knight, then go stat rape people, the repeat...wouldn't work.

1) Buying units will never happen, especialoly with stats. Look at the list of ideas to never suggest, and you'll see trading and buiying units on it.

I was thinking of this aswell. Its been around 9 months since the perma-Revelation account deal was offered. Many new golds, and future golds have missed it. Possibly in months to come, if a person wins a tournament, and they didn't have a gold last December, they can choose to have a perma-Rev account as their prize.

Also, Seed created alternate names for tournament winners on Legends over a year ago. I don't understand how thinking that FPS tournament winners recieving alternate names is unrealistic.

Also, though I don't know if it would be taken over a rare unit or unique avatar, is the reward of beta testing a new unit. Say if a new unit comes out, a tourney winner can get the unit at the same time Legends does. This way, he can have the unit for a week before it comes out, and just practice with it and give feedback back to the game Admins. I dunno if anyone suggested this already or not, but it doesn't matter, since the odds of the Admins doing this are slim to none.

Have tournament participants designate a forum name. If they win a tournament, put a medal or a prize under their forum name in their posts (like the forum title, rep, location, etc)... And a mention of their tournament victories in their public profile.

That's something moderators can do, rewards victors with fame, and isn't too extravagant. :)

Another cool thing would be to have the medals link to a tournament victors page or something.
