Greetings

I'm new here. I started a few days ago, upgraded to a Gold account because I wanted to see what the other units were like, and basically decided to play for fun. I reside in Great lakes, and the account name is the same as this one.

Now for a few questions, which I haven't found answers for on the boards.

Rush, Turtle, Freestyle, what is the difference, and is any one of these better than the others? I would guess it depends on who plays them, but I stand open for correction.

Clans, how do these benefit you, what can you do with them, and so on. If someone could point me to a general clan thread or something of that sort I would appreciate it. I am not looking to join one I just want to know what they are all about. Mainly because I keep on getting invites and I want to know what I would be getting myself in for.

Finally, Why do people just quit after two turns or so, I can understand if you are waiting for a game and someone jumps you, but otherwise, what is the deal?

Hope you guys don't mind helping.

Welcome to the forums, and the world of gold.
The difference between rush, turtle and freestyle is that rush is a completely offensive setup, a turtle is a defensive setup with a stone golem. And Freestyle is more of a style than a setup. You just pick your form, whether it be turtle or rush, and play whoever you were arranging to play with.

People quit after two turns because 1. They feel that they're gonna lose. 2. They want to see your "Cool Men".

Clans are only for social reasons in the servers. You can talk back and forh, or even play with them with out risking stats. You might be able to check in the FAQ, alot of questions can be answered there, as wel as several unit strategies.
