I got kinda bored and thought of this unit and how many mediveal games have these so here. I also notice that there are other Ballista ideas but I thought I'd bring up another.

Ballista

These large crossbows on wheels are slow and defense less but when they have one of their massive arrows strapped to them that's all you will notice.

HP: 38
Attack: 32
Armor: 6
Block %: 0 from all sides
Movement: 2 spaces
Recovery time: 1 for movement, 3 for attack and movement
Range: 5, if shooting from 3 spaces or less LOS will not effect the shot and if shooting at a space next to the Ballista the shot is unblockable

This would be good for turtles incase a unit gets to close and is out of LW range or for cracking down on a paralyzed unit. In rushing this wouldn't exactly be the next best GA, it's low movement range and low armor isn't exactly something you would want to rush though it could be effective if put a row or two back. Cut me some slack on this, I'm not usally posting ideas on CAU but your welcome to make suggestions on it. If you guys like it it would be cool if the committee would vote on it.

Ok. I guess this would make a pretty good unit, but raise its armor, because then it'll be almost like a barely mobile ward.

from a turt point of view i would hate this unit as it could kill the cleric guranteed first or second turn as nothing does 38 damage. This thing makes the ambusher look crud in my opinion, it gets stronger as you get closer. This thing would need a higher turn recovery awell in my opinion as other wise it could sit mid range and annhilate anyhting that comes attacking.

Lets compare this to a lw:
HP: LW wins by 28
Armour: LW wins by 18%
Blocking: LW cant be hit physically
Power: Ballista wins by 2
Range: Ballista wins by 2
Movement: Ballista wins by 2

So, if you improve its hp or armour etc... it will be a much better version of the LW. Thats overpowered. Basically, not to be nasty, i think its way too powerful with its attack.

Overpowered GA, anyone?

Let's look at the stats:

Stats: GA/Ballista
HP: 60/38
Armor: 0/6
Blocking: 0/0
Power: 20/32
Range: 5-6/1-5
Movement: 2/2
Recovery: 4/3

Seems like I forgot something, guess not. Anyway, I'm sure we all get my drift.
