Pernounced- Jeek-sel
These burrowing creatures have webbed hands and have bumps all over them. They are like evolved toads and ducks and they are always striving to kill.
Health- 57
Armor- 14
Blocking- 45% Frontal hits, 22.5% Side hits, 0% Back shots.
Movement Range- 3. The Jeixle burrows underground. The Jeixle can pop up under a unit. After every time the Jeixle pops up under a unit after doing the moving, he is immune to melee attacks, but can be damaged by the LW, Poison, Pyromancer and Witch burns. This is because the attacks go the ground, as opposed to just through the air. If by chance the Jeixle is shaken up by the mud-quake when beneath a unit, it takes 1.5 times the amount of regular quake damage he would've taken. Once the unit that the Jeixle is sitting below moves away, the Jeixle rises up to the earth.
Attack- This attack does 19 damage. If the Jeixle is below a unit and the Jeixle chooses to attack (it can't attack any other space), the attack is unblockable, except if it's a ward. If the Jeixle is above ground, the Jeixle can choose any adjacent tile to be attacked with a blockable slash. (Knight attack pattern)
Sunburn- When the Jeixle is above ground, it takes 1 passive damage.
Recovery Time- 2. 1 Movement, 1 Attack.

You forgot armor, blocking, and attack range.
Aside from that, this is a great unit. It's tactical, has alot of balance due to the amount of damage it can take throughout the game, and would be quite useful. Nice job.

Alrighty then.. when I'm feelin' cool I'll edit it so it has 45% blocking. Is that too much/little?

This is the cleric killer, not to mention the turtle's worst enemy. I think this is overpowered because it can effectively avoid any attacks by always moving under another unit. While it's power would greatly decrease late in the game, its impact would be astronmical in the early stages. The ability to disrupt any focus (especially a stoney) without risking the health of a unit is too strong.
I know that you put the one passive damage effect to temper the unit, but it is easily countered by
A) staying underground, which isn't too hard, especialy if you go under your opponent's units in recovery.
B) Healing once every 12 turns will offset the sunburnn, which is likely to be some of the only damage this unit will take.
I will think about this unit some more, but I do not feel that the negatives offset the extreme benefits of ths unit.

its interesting. imo id agree with legacy and say slightly overpowered.
an idea for balancing that i was thinking of would be that if a unit steps (moves over) the Jeixle then the Jeixle takes 5 unblockable, unreducable damage. This would mean that in late game there would still be ways of killing this thing.
Also, im slightly confused about the burrowing, it burrows underground OK, but does it resurface after it has finished moving? When it "pops up" from under a unit, where does it then go, since that square is already occupied?
One of the problems is that with only certain units able to damage it, combined with its high life and reasonable armor, and reasonable blocking, this thing will be a huge pain to kill.
Finally, do focus affects work on it while it is underground?

What can I change? Maybe the movement range to 3?

Walrus- Focus effects like poison work, but not paralysis. It only works on the unit above it.
What do you mean 'stepping' on the Jeixle? As soon as a unit walks away from on top of the Jeixle, it rises to the surface.
PM me if you are still confused about the burrowing if you want.
I am also going to edit that the Jeixle can not burrow under a shrub or ward.

Get reading glasses. I don't know how burrowing can be so confusing. I'm sorry that it isn't clear, but i can't explain it better.

That really doesn't make that much sense. ;) I don't even think it's grammatically correct...
