Note that the cool thing is that the next person doesn't need to also make a statment for someone else to take offense at...their primary post will be enough. Because the internet is an emotionless void, and we can't gage tone very well. So when I say something like "oh that's silly", it can be seen as joking or belittling. So what I'm stating is we all need to more directly portray our intent. Putting things like "this was not meant to piss anyone off and is completely joking" helps.

Dirka: you above all people pointing unbacked statements is probably the largest bit of hypocrisy i've seen on these boards. Also, I haven't blamed anything on Bush - I just don't see him as a good president. This demonstrates your odd tendency to group entire threads worth of responses as the direct thought-process of one individual (this isn't the first time you've done it).

One last thing, disagreeing with you on issues of pot makes neither one of us dumb. Even if you were to make the claim that I don't know as much as you when it comes to marijuana (which I really don't take as an insult), you still have no claim against my intelligence.
