...Are there a lot of people making new forum accounts after being negged (or not) and such. this link here (http://www.tacticsarena.com/forum/showthread.php?t=20990) is some1udontknow's newbie thread, but the proclaims that he has alredy been here on other accounts.... do people do this so as to get a major rep boost or is it a dire need of attention, or in Sage thiefs case, to make life harder by having two accounts to deal with.

Maybe they just get hated on by people in their other account, so they start freash on a new one.

But that's the point of starting fresh. You want to be thought of as a newb. Then you gradually evolve into a semi-not-newb.

Yeah, expecially if the person is getting negged..just to make a new name to try to get good rep..then screw up like someone did..it just gets stupid.

I don't find starting off fresh a new problem unless they don't tell you who they really are. If they say they were previously known as spirit ninja then I see no problem. :) Or if they make a new name just to get higher rep?!

There are many idiots who insist on using muliple names in an attempt to be more popular. Take The Cheat or Krome for example. They use multiple accounts at the same time (and even rep themselves) in order to be more popular.
The practice of making new forums accounts (and usually bragging they had others) is just a good reason to neg a person into oblivion on their new account.

I have multiple accounts (I reserve names that I use in game in the forums), but I never use them as if they are a new account.

And, I told people to Neg one, so they'd have a place for useless reps to go since I don't care what rep it has.

I have never made a new account to try and fool others into thinking it was someone else.
