druid's are basically like half warrior and half magin user.
this unit has 2 types of attacks
1st) it can use a melee attack like the knights attack pattern.(1 square to any side)
2nd) it can use a magic attack like the dragon tyrant's attacking pattern.(3 squares in straight line)

hit points:40
attacking power of melee: 20
attacking power of magic: 17
armour :15
blocking:40
movment:3
recovery rate: if uses the melee attack then recover's in 1,
if it uses the magic attack it take 2 to recover.
but, after this unit uses its magic attack then it loses its armour untill it uses its melee attack.

just a quick though and first time thinking up a unit
let me know what you guys think, am i on the right track?

Ask yourself.... how would the game interface be able to allow this unit to have two completly different attacks?

:)
Kinda like when I was first here....
This is what they said to me: "I don't think they are going to completely change the game just for one unit."

Interesting idea, but it will need some re-working, like:
Main attack is melee.
Secondary attack does X damage to all units within 4 spaces.

Or something like that.

no, learz's point goes deeper then just coding. First off, two units in the game currently have secondary attacks. These are supposed to be very rare. I find a lot of people making units all want their unit to have second or third extra special abilities. That doesn't quite work in this game. I like the idea as it reminds me of world of warcraft, but this game is much more simple then that. You're basically combining the strength of a knight with the unblockable distance hits of a pyro. This is unballanced.

nothing wrong with secondary attacks as long as they fit in well with both the unit and the game. just throwing them in for the sake of it however, is bad.
