View Full Version : Possible Formation Help

I am a grey, and where I am from, I need a formation that consists of two clerics, a mud golem, a beast rider, a frost golem, and a furgon. I know I won't be dissapointed with what you FPSers will give me, if your reputation preceeds you (as it appears to).

err, ok, is there any room for variation in there? say, for knights

EDIT: oh, that consists of... I'll see what I can do, do you like to turtle, or rush?

Of course! Feel free to so whatever you'd like, do whatever you want, I'm open to any suggestions. I want any possible formation help I can get at the moment. Shoot anything you have at me.

That form SUCKS! 2 clerics + Mud + Frost + Furgon + BR = 6 units. Plus most likely a lw, thats 7, followed by a scout, thats 8, and two knights, thats 10. Why would you ever use 2 knights?

Take a cleric out. You don't need to heal every other other turn, especially if you can only win by being aggresive. You Also don't need a furgon! Your going to be on the attack not defense.

Necessary Units Scout, Knights (3) and thats it by my standards. From there you can play what style you want, but using 2 clerics is a waste of another attacking/defending unit. Using a muddie instead of a dmw is fine by me because they have a higher health and more range + attack.

A frosty is fine, though I still prefer my chanty bw combo.
But why, WHY would you use 2 clerics? It just means your going to be defending all game, and though defense wins championships, its the aggresive teams that win the World Cup.

Dude... I'm saying I have those units PLUS anything else accessable to greys. I'm not saying all of that that I listed has to be used

personaly what I'd use, the furgon provides protection from units getting through the inevitable gaps to be formed and along with the frost will greatly improve defence, I didn't really like a 2 cleric idea with those units, and the BR isn't that good of a unit in this case, It can be sub'd with the assasin though

Id do something like this, u can freeze their lw first move then move in with ur muddy and br etc etc:D

Something else you could do for formation help is ask your clan for a good one, or you can visit some cla websites, which have fomations and strategy.

For this formation to succeed, you need to be pretty aggressive. Hope to kill the cleric, and retreat while saving at least 1 scout, 1 cleric, Frosty and Furgon, and your knights to defend against the attack to come. The BR I feel, doesn't really belong in this formation.

Edit: Forgot you're a legender... Oh well, you're screwed.
