Also I think they check for accounts to upgrade right before the wipe. I would say that you are fine. I maybe wrong.

Why would you pay for an account you knew was going to be deleted in the first place. But if you already payed I wouldnt be expecting a refund;however, if it was a small offense, perhaps you could make a new account and pay for that one.

The account is not being "deleted", it is currently gray and a subject to the upcoming server wipes, or so I think. So his question is if his account will become gold before the wipe if he paid recently. He wants to know because he wants to keep his stats and unit drops I am assuming.

There is nothing on the homepage about an upcoming wipe. I would bet highly that you are safe and have nothing to worry about. Just give it a little while. :)

That depends on when the Administrator checks their paypal account. Maybe by monday, that would be my guess but that is not offical. The FAQ says 24 hours, but it is a Sunday so you might want to give it 48 hours (2 days).

Well, it is possible that you will have your gold tomarrow, but I cant really tell you much, considering I myself am a grey., and have never purchased a gold. So I'm not sure what they will do.

Mine took about 2-3 hours because the gold accounts updates were being done while I registered so it was quick.

BTW- The admins always run checks on payments made, and upgrade waiting accounts, before wiping the greys. So if you have paid for a gold, and a wipe is announced, they will upgrade you before wiping.

If you upgraded you will be fine, the moderators take care of all of the upgrades first before the wipe. Is that what you were asking?
