I was battleing with my friend the other day and I had this formation that was unstopable. I won 5 games in a row with it. Then he found a formation that killed me. So I switched my formation to this...http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b185/zspitfire04/Untitled-3copy.jpg but now I keep getting pwned liek this. Does anyone have a better setup?

yay, is it just me, or did you really make 2 identical threads?
that so deserves a neg rep... ^.^
anyway, you should figure out on your own, which formation suits you most.
And the only way to do that is by reading about formations other ppl already created and try them out in a battle, or by creating a formation on your own...
and besides, I'm sure there are many threads about formations already, so it would be smarter if you'd use the search function instead of creating a new thread (which probably got you the red box) the next time you wanna post on the forums.

Uhh scout is useless in back, cleric is exposed to a knight rush with scout back up. All mage units are flying solo, easy pickings.

Consult a random number generator, its form couldn't be much worse than that one.

Yeah, the scout in the back is pretty useless. The cleric and pyros, and the witch would be sniped by a scout really fast. Well, thats all i can say...or i will go on for like forever.

heres a re-enactment for you, if i used my "best" form.
turn 1 - scout hits pyro(left) for 18.
turn 2 - scout #2 hits pyro (right)for 18.
turn 3- knight laughs at pyro(right) and side attacks for 22. dead.
turn 4- wisp moves in beside the ward, poisons knight, ward and witch
.....and so on
granted some units would move...in which case id just melee them to death
muddy in the front too, ready to rock any weakened units to death

Why don't you show us a picture of this so-called unstopable form?

What are your stats. My guess is they are below 600, if you used a form like that, which is incredibly far from "unstopable".

No my stats 863, That is a form that I have decided to use for right now untill someone could show me a stronger one. I realize I shouldnt have posted about this to anyone now. The form that I considered unstopable was something that I changed. Before I changed it, I considered it unstopable. I have forgotten how I had it set up so its pretty ahrd to just go back to it. Otherwise I would.

most of the time when u get a formation from someone else, it doesnt work, u must make your own to master it
anyone disagree?

That was useless. Why don't you analyze it as a grey? Of course your gold setup could beat it.
Well, A+ for creativity. Other than that, I won't give you specific pointers, just general formation tips.
First off, don't put vulnerable units like pyros or witches on the front two lines. They can be hit by a lightning ward first turn, meaning sudden death.
Next, knights are big, strong, high powered, low recovery tanks. They also, however, have no range, so by putting them on the front two rows in front of weaker units, you can not only maximize their defensive capabilities, but give yourself the option of hitting enemy units with them.
Have fun with formations, and next time, post something like this in the thread labeled "rate the formation above yours." It's conveniant, and by reading it you may find some useful tips from previous posters.
