What's your favorite unit (grey)

Scout is my favorite, because of its mobility. It always gets me out of tough sitiuations.

I Would have to say that the Pyromancers are my favoirte, they are versatile, great for multiple attacks, not too bad with hp, and dont take up that many turns

We use International English, is what its called. Or British English, or Australian English. I don't know, just not US English!

Its like "armor". You spell it like "armor", whereas we spell it "armour". Just like "favorite" and "favourite", "color" and "colour".

You see, you American's didn't like having to use your brains and remembering that there is infact a silent "u" in certain words. So you took it out.

EDIT: Pyro's do not suck. Ask Bottle. The only unit that sucks is the nub-cannon. Even then, even it has some uses.

Tied between scout and barrier ward, scout is a great harasser and line breaker while barrier is a life saver in tight spots.

Except for the 1% of us that don't use a cleric, its the best unit.

Playing without one can sometimes be a huge advantage. If you know your opponent is going to Nub-cannon rush you, whats the point of having a Cleric if its just gonna die in two moves anyway?.. Because they'll no doubt have a Mud, Wisp, or Scout, or any combination of those, ready to take the pickings after the stupid GA has made its attack.

With no Cleric on your side, you basically nullify the GA's use. You could have, say, another Pyro, which you could inflict some massive damage. You'd basically have two walking LW's. Three, actually, including the DSM. Four if you include the Dragon.

By then, you would've got your opponents Cleric, and he'll be down one attacking unit. I'm sure that attacking unit can't do 27 unblockable damage.

And someone said Pyro's suck. Sheesh. Even a few (3 or 4) on a Grey side can cause a whole lotta trouble; coupled with a DMW or two, you have one helluva' Grey bomb. And trust me, against a Gold Turtle, or Grey Turtle, your in for some serious hurt.

No, you misunderstood me.

Obviously, when you ask someone for a Freestyle game, you can be 90% sure, if not more, that they are going to Cleric rush you. But if you have no Cleric, you have a tactical advantage.

And no, not for massive mage bombing. A couple of Pyro's and a DSM isn't a massive mage bomb. What I said about the Pyro's at the end of my post was completely irrelevant to my Cleric post.

Besides, Chanty PWNS.

She can, theoretically, "kill" an entire opponents team. Right there, is just one reason why she is the Best unit in my opinion.

I like the chanty and scout the best. When you think about it, if a chanty goes 1 on 1, the chanty will win (unless its another chanty).

The scout is another of my favourites because he is the best range grey unit out their. He can kill a cleric easy, knock people out of focus easily, and he has good mobility.

i completely agree. it would be a huge advantage when the opponent is rushing. its just one less peice to worry about and one more attacker on the field.

The first 3 drops I ever got as a Grey were Chanties, and they were all before I reached 900. After my third Chanty, 1298 was reached as a Grey. Now, we're talking way back. In the region of January/February/March.

Now, those stats back then were just plain awesome.

I've loved the Enchantress ever since. She's saved my ass on more than one occassion thats for sure! She's so versatile and just plain AMAZING!

Her attack range, the way she Tango's with the Barrier Ward... *sigh*

Just thinking about it makes me want to go and get an Ice-Pack.

or i suggest and enchantress WITH a barrior ward
this can save you in very tough situations, i have lost some games i would have won if not for the enchantress with the bw. because the enchantress can paralyze anyone in a range of 2 spaces away and the bw can reach up to 6 spaces. This will only work if you can use the enchanty right. :cool:

hmmm i would have to disagree... the scout can be killed easily and doesnt do much damage... i would say the knight is the best... alof of hp, movies every turn, blocks alot, does alot of damage... best unit for a 1 on 1 fight... :bigsmile:
