HEY GUYS! What's up?! My name is Sky_Lander and I've got a brand spankin' new clan on Great Lakes! We're just itching to find some new members for some crazy, out of control fun and TAO domination!
We're just starting off, and we don't have much to say yet, but c'mon over and we'll get something started! Check out our website and become a part of the Arizon Sky team!
There are no stat requirements, so if you're looking for a good clan to start out in, have no fear, we'll be here for ya'!

This is your first post on the forums, and you've given no information about the clan whatsoever. Why would anyone in their right mind desire membership? We don't know anything about your skill, your clan, your ideals, your positions, or your capabilities as a leader. How about a little 411?
It'd probably be a good idea if you said something about your clan to build it up. Having a website and talking about it would be great, too.
At least get a bit hyped about your clan. I mean, come on. There's tons of other clans. Why would someone want to pick yours? Even if it's not the best clan, make your message exciting... give it some bite.

Hello, I had another thread, but it got flamed and I do not know how to get it removed from these boards because I am a board newbie. As you might know, I am starting a new clan in Great Lakes. The name of this clan is: Arizon Sky. I am looking for people with a positive attitude and who are ready to play.
Stats mean nothing to me, my rank might be below 1000; i just started out and got booted a couple times when the servers shutdown. My units position that I've set November 14th are yet unmatched though. Well, I cannot really describe how this clan will turn out or what things we'll do to get stronger.

I am looking for people over 800+ rating now. To try out, our website again, is arizonsky.taoclans.com . I have the highest rating in the clan right now which is 1007. I will get to over 2000+ rating at the end of this week. This is not sarcasm...

I'ma try to make this friendly advice instead of more flame.
Aside from what's been previously mentioned, you really shouldn't be so vague and uncertain about your own clan. If you want a good clan, you need higher standards then 800 stats. Yes stats are not the absolute indicator of a person's abilities, but generally they happen to roughly coincide.
If you want your clan to be good, have tryouts, and a general idea of how you want to shape the clan. Coming into things with "I don't know how this is going to turn out" is a recipe for disaster. Think out how *you* want it to turn out, and attract people of a similar mindset. That is, if you want a noble non-cheating nice clan, say that and atract those type of people.
Leadership demands vision and clarity of the desired final outcome.
