I remember pyro pyrates from way back in the day. I think they originated on GL.

If I hadn't been on Banff, I probably would have wound up joining. Back then, if memory serves, PP was THE "anti-1337" clan. They took almost anyone with a good attitude, regardless of stats, and trained them, both in the games and on the forums. They didn't take themselves seriously, or the whole "clan" thing, either - they encouraged people to get spy accounts and put them in the clan, because they had nothing to hide. The "original" PP (or at least the one I remember) was just a good group of people, dedicated to having fun and improving some people on the way. The clan that I remember would never have said they were #1, now would they have cared if someone else did.

Unfortunately, that version of PP has become twisted and perverted. The PP leadership now houses dishonest and biased people. Phate actively tries to pull members away from other clans with the promises of making them #1, or paying for their gold accounts. Unfortunately, many players don't realize that if someone pays for your gold, they can also change the password. Snork, an odd duck, but a voice of reason and a strong leader, has apparently been told to get lost by his own clan.

This is sad. PP today is just a shadow of its former self. It's rotten through and through. Even though I don't particularly like bullcat0, Phate's BS, and really, that of the whole clan, was pretty clear in that situation, even to me.

PP is diseased, folks. Join at your own risk.

PP sponsors peopel who we think will do well as a gold, and so far everyone with a sponsored gold is over 1500, and they deserve this opportunity. So there is no use in saying its a negative aspect of PP.

If anything its one of the things we feel good about doing; providing those who are not forutnate enough to afford a gold, with a gold account to themselves.

PP doesn't cheat, there is no one that cheats in our Clan or else they will be expelled or deleted. There is never any proof upon any accusations that come from those who make them.

I do offer people invitations if they are in other clans, but there's no rules against that, and by no means do I "force" people into PP, if that was the case we would not be the #1 clan. We are and will always be one of the best, because of what we believe in. Respect. I come to these forums with the same attitude towards everyone in the way I want them to treat me. Second If PP is sponsoring you, the only real rule is tha tyou stay in PP, And im not sure you you classify that as "forcing" it's their decision to want to go through with the sponsored gold. Second, I dont change other people's passwords. I have absolutely no reason too. If a sponsored gold asks for a p/w change they tell me the old p/w and i replace it with the new. Second If PP is sponsoring you, the only real rule is tha tyou stay in PP, And im not sure you you classify that as "forcing" it's their decision to want to go through with the sponsored gold. His email and Paypal account was used to change the password on someone elses account. He upgraded someone without their permission during a short time they were grey, in order to force them to join PP. WHen they refused, he cancelled the upgrade. The person them upgraded themselves.
Later on, the subscription number that Phate was given when he upgraded the account was used to change the password on that account (even though he was no longer paying for the account that was gold at that time.

Phate claims everyone and his brother had access to his email accounts, AND that he wasn;t even there the weekend this happened.

Realist "investigated" what happened, and nothing was done to anyone.

I told bullcat0 that I would upgrade him, (not because I wanted him to join) after I upgraded him he said that it will mess up his account, so I cancelled the gold account. There was absolutely no "forcing" of anyone into the clan, I otld him he didn't have to join, i was doing it as a friend, i though his parents cancelled his gold on him. The Issue was never big, scott and I settled the situation, no arguements or anything, nothing happened and eveyrone was fine.

Jeffery once again your twisting the truth, whether or not you mean to your exaggerations are a large part of the flamming of PP. Your wrong. Dead Wrong.

I didn't cancel his gold because he refused to join. I didn't upgrade him in expentancy that he would have to join. I did not upgrade someone without their permission.

If I wanted to, I can monopolize the game using the same methods that you and JW have used, on top of the regular skills that make us number one anyways.

But if I did that, I wouldn't feel good about myself, I would destroy the challenge of the game, and I would just quit in the end. :)

I prefer a challenge over dominance anyday...and once dominance is achieved, a challenge to maintain it. :) If cheating is involved in that process, then I grow very bored and lose my purpose.
