Channelers are odd, evil mages who are eternally connected with the dead, and channel the power of the dead in battle. They are not incredibly powerful, but scare the opposition in hopes to escape.
Channeler:
Armor: 0
Blocking: 40% front(20% sides)
Recovery: 3(Only 1 for movement)
Health: 32
Movement: 3
Range: same as frost golem
Attack: Unblockable, takes 16 reduceable, and also haunts* the opposing unit so that it can not move for 2 turns. "Haunted" appears where "poisoned" or "paralyzed" would appear.
Edits: The spirits of the dead which have been channeled onto the battlefield scare the attacked unit into short temporary paralysis. By attacking the "Haunted" unit, you force the spirits out before they would normally leave.
Only one unit can be attacked at a time, and the channeler would not be recovered by the time the spirits had left the previously attacked unit.
When haunted, a unit is the same as paralyzed, and cannot block for the time it is haunted.
*This unit is NOT a focus unit. The only way to stop the haunting is to attack OR HEAL the haunted unit.
I hope I'm getting better at this...i have another unit up my sleeve, but i want to hear the reaction on this unit first...

Seems like a decently balanced unit, nice job. The thing right now I don't seem to have a liking for is the whole haunting thing. You should probably explain it in more detail, then maybe everyone could get a better understanding of the unit.

can more than 1 unit be haunted at once?

no, only one unit can be attacked at a time, and the channeler would not be recovered by the time the spirits had laft the previously attacked unit, so definite no.
From now on, all questions will be edited into first post, so i can stop post whoring.:)

This is till a little foggy to me, but it looks as if it has improved? I guess it is just something I have to read over a few times before fully understanding it. Good job though.

It could still be a little clearer and more descriptive than it is.

What part of it?
Also, I'd kinda like one of the 7 judges to tell me anything they think about this unit, so i know whether to submit it or not.

Have you edited it since i posted as it now makes sense?
I like the abilities and powers but it doesnt seem tough enough for what it does, maybe a small HP and blocking bonus would make it good enough?

actually, i haven't edited again, so maybe you just read it wrong the first time.:)
i don't know about the hp or blocking bonus... I don't want to overpower it. I'll add 2 to health, and 7% to frontal blocking, therefore adding 4 ti side blocking.:) and I will make one other edit too.

Well everyone forgets some things at some point or another. The concept is still good though.

i dont like it. its like a short unbreakable paralysis with damage. hell you get a mud gollem no matter what after one attack. scout too if you have a knight. its movement is better than a frosts so teamed up with a furgy(with a furgy wall) and you can now attack over your wall and stop them in one move with no los. really really bad... but thats just me

maybe it should focus? it wouldnt recover anyway. altough it wold lose its blocking. i see imag's point though. maybe healing cures it? seeing as healing is done by a cleric who serves a god.

ok, I can do that. Healing or attacking the unit forces the spirits out.
