Anyway, we are having turkey, mashed potatoes, corn, cranberries, biscuits, and lots of other things I can not think of at the time.

What I want to be on my thanksgiving table is pumpkin pie and turkey and mashed potatoes and gravy. But what WILL be on the table is my uncles, passed out on the table, drunk. But I guess that is okay too because it is kind of a tradition. :p

A woman has broken her hands after her massive Thanksgiving turkey sandwiched them between the plate and the table.
The above article is true. And by true, I mean false. They're all lies. But they're entertaining lies. And in the end, isn't that the real truth?
The answer ... is no.

wow bullet....that was deep....for my thanksgiving? We usually have over 70 people at my house for thanksgiving. Three 15 lb. turkeys, tons of mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, tons of diferent homemade bread, pies, pudding, ham, grilled pig shredded, tons of different stuff....its always good. Have any of you ever deep fried your turkey?...man...thats good stuff...its better than turkey cooked in the oven....

I'm English, so I don't celebrate thanksgiving (it is an American holiday). The only reason most of you like it is because of the turkey. You don't even bother to take the slightest though about what the holiday is about. That's what the post is trying to point out. People go to too much trouble for a turkey.

Wrong. I actually hate turkey. I just thought that that image was funny.

In the same boat. Chicken or duck does it for me. Turkey, IMO, is too sickly.

Don't give me that bs :p That's how everywhere is with their holidays. Not the turkey loving part (which I think is a misinterpretation from foreigners), just the day off and relaxing and such. I already said, thanksgiving is about us getting together to drink beer and watch football.
Though on a side note 21pd turkey inc this year!!!!
Leftovers galore!
