Greys will never ever ever get a new unit.
Otherwise this thing is a normal kinda unit. I suppose its balanced but there isnt anything special about it.

thats the point. Its not special. Do greys want to be on the recieving end of some unit that can control thier units or revive units. People are going for unfair units that would end up being abused. Most ideas are just far out and would mess up the game this is simply a new slightly different unit. It would be quite interesting with its range replacing the assasin but with no special not really. Units like this that are balanced like a regular unit with no special at least a few would be special. But going for these oddball things that again, mess up the harmony of the game just wouldnt work. think about it from a grey perspective.

Most new units do just have normal attacks, but now abilities are becoming a bigger part as it diversifies the game alot better and makes it more interesting.

Cube, I can't help but notice you're talking mainly about the horrible units that I've seen in the past couple of days. There are plenty of awesome units that everyone likes, see the first stickied thread and scroll down to about post 2 or 3. Not everyone makes units that are noobish and non-beatable, just the people that havn't been here long. (Though I'm not one to talk, sence I've only been here a month now, but I do make decent units) You shouldn't just quit like that, just don't go all out on units untill you have a perfect idea of a unit thats original, very tactical, pretty cool, low abuse factor, ect. And usually nobody comes up with an idea that's perfect in the begining. Every CAU thread that I've seen has been edited in some way so nobodys THAT good. If you want to quit the CAU 'buisness', I'm not stoping you but I say that you should stick around and take a little more time on your units. Remember, be creative. If it's too strong, you can edit it later.
And grays DO NOT get these units, remember that...

Yeah.....I think we already have something exactly like this. It's called a knight!

They may support the game in "spirit," but they don't actually support the game from a "financial" perspective. If the greys don't help the game, why should the game help greys?

you took a knight dropped its stats a tiny bit and added 1 movement.
there will never be a grey only unit. ever.
this unit would not add anything.
go play FF Tac Adv.
