Well I was chilling in GL on my friends name Arctic looking for a game.(as usual) StupidCowsCantSwim signs on and says to me,"want to see something really wierd". So i said sure. I made myself a quick grey account and get into a game with Cows and some how he has 3 scouts! he doesnt even know how he got 3 scouts lol. Anyone have any guesses?

Edit: No this s/s has not been edited, ask him yourself to see his 3 scouts if u dont believe me.

I've heard stories like these before...

The most practical answer anyone could give you is a glitch.
But if StupidCowsCantSwim went gold to grey... then upgraded his super grey account again, possibly it could've doubled all his gold units. Ask him if he has double any other unit...

This is not the first time I have seen this. There was an account on Army that was DOUBLE GOLD, had double all gold units...i just cant remember his user name at the moment.

This is likely a glitch that sometimes can happen where someone is gold, degolds, then re-golds themselves. When they re-gold the system accidently gives them a new set of gold units, so they have 2 of every unit you get when you go gold. They send an email or msg when this happens asking players to remove these extra units to my knowledge though. I'm sure a mod will handle it fom here.

Yes, I Pmed Aro to help me on this and I did de-gold about a month ago but I never started paying again. The conclusion that I came to was that someone else golded me so that I would stay gold. I have no idea who that someone could be but I have no problem dumping these units. When I played dark, I only had the three scouts but now I have the full set, I just had to delete some of the units I already had.

Here's the scoop-

Of course bills is full of joy, getting oodles of money every year from TAO, so he says "okay, let's give this lil critter another scout because im cool like that."

Well what really happens is that sometimes when accounts are made gold, some units are dublicated by accident.

It wasn't just one scout extra though. It was the full double gold, I just had too many units in my settings to get the rest of them, so when I delete a couple I had all of the extra units.

I don't remember. Were you? But no i just deleted eight pyros and three witches and I had room for all the other units.

Also, if an Admin is notified of someone using a double gold set, that person is deleted.

I am aware of that and I just thought it was weird that I had three scouts all of a sudden so I showed it to a few people. When I realized I had a doulbe gold, I showed it to some clanmates but I haven't, and won't, play on that account with a double gold.

Of course not. Do you get another lightning ward when you buy a gold account? Didn't think so. So I wouldn't get one if I have two sets of GOLD units now would I?

I know its great because at the tender age of 18 i once dreamt of having three scouts, very few could stand in my way as i destroyed cleric after cleric and frosty after frosty. i was unbeatalbe.

Now waiting for someone to come and say "i can beat a three scout set up, it wouldnt be any trouble at all."
