An EXPLODING Assassin?! What the.....

:mad: So I'm up against some guy in the arena, and I am just trashin' him. the battle is off to a great start, and I'm anticipating a quick victory. Suddenly, this guy sends his assassin on a suicide run deep into the midst of my army. I'm thinkin' "what, are you stupid? she ain't gonna get two attacks off before my knights grease her.." what I didn't know was that she wouldn't NEED two attacks....to my tactical befuddlement, she charged right into the midst of three units....And to my further Shock and Awe, E-X-P-L-O-D-E-D, :confused: killing all three of them at once, and her along with them. I'm talkin' 99 points of damage to all targets! What Was That?! was that legal? How did he do THAT?


I'm tellin ya, that was no ordinary assassin; that was more like an Al Qeida operative if you ask me..... freakin' terrorist move....seriously though, does anyone know how he did that, and if there is any way to defend against it? I've been playin' tactics for a while now, and I've never seen anything like it... any info would be appreciated.

First of all, I'm not sure this is the appropriate forum for this.

Secondly, read around, especially in the unit description section on the TAO site itself, it explains the attack.

If the Assassin gets down below 5 health it can suidice itself and cause 99 unblockable damage to everything within its attack pattern including itself.

ok it is very simple when it has less than 5 health you,in the attack phase, instead of choosing tiles to attack hold the curser on the assassin it self for 3 seconds then let go and..BOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!! no more assassin plus any units along with it:>
