This guy from the armageddon server asked me to play, then went for the old ctrl + w is good for you thing. Love ya, Machine. Funny thing is, his clanny from m16, El matador, did the same thing just a few hours earlier from this shot, only he asked me about his homework, a country that has nig and ends with ria. Weird that 1500s and 1200s have to deal this sort of things out, hoping to snare newbies. Good upbringing, guys. :bigsmile:

I figured this might be a good way to stop them from doing such things, so if you guys got any good "caught in the act" screenshots, play it for us.

Battle's flank was exposed. Even if he freed up the knight, the two scouts and the DSM would tear him to shreds.

Because those, I've never heard them mentioned by anybody for a legitimate reason. Not once.

So this constitues as some sort of cheating then. I was reading through the rules and they say cheating or spamming. It doesnt look like it belongs to either [scamming] so I thought I might as well make a thread about it to warn players about such people and of course, to ridicule the players at question. ^^

Anyway, I surrendered right after I took this screenshot. I guess I'll send it to a mod then. Strike three and you're OUT!

Yes, this constitutes as cheating, anything that will make you d/c or the likes is cheating. When you send the screenie to the mod include:

1) Name
2) Server
3) Screenshot
4) Rating

This will ensure they get the right guy ;)

2. We don't generally punish misaction of this sort, so sending a screenshot is sort of pointless. It is too broad, too common, and unlike spamming or cheating, quite easy to avoid being affected by. Just don't be stupid.
3. Don't make threads like this. It happens all the time. And if you must make a thread about it, post it in Battle Reports.
4. Adding more words to the filter isn't the solution! That just creates more tricks for people to use. Make "tactics expert" a banned word and cheaters will say "uh, I have to rite tactix xpert 4 my homework, how do u spell it?"

Too late. Already sent it to this mod on the end of the list, aer something..

The phrase "Just don't be stupid." doesn't quite cut it, for one, I did not have any idea that words would boot me out of the game, for another.. an innocent looking word like NIGERIA [got caught by this one 2 days into this game].

The next time someone ask about their homework, just tell them to ask their mother. Mothers know best :)

I don't have a screenie of it, but the another guy tried to do that from m16 also. His name was Led Zeppelin (so sad a cheater must use that name :( ) and when I told him I knew what would happen he surrrendered and logged off ;) :huh:
