I payed for a gold account yesterday morning (through paypal). On the site it says, it takes 24 hours to upgrade, but its been 24 hours and i'm still a grey. The wipe is tommorow and i was wondering if i will get wiped also even though i paid for the gold account upgrade already. Please answer and thanks a lot.

Yes you will get wiped but most times ser will get on before the wipe and upgrade you, I would say take a s/s of your stats and stuff like that, then send a pm to ser and he sould make you gold and upgrade your stats to what they was. :) hope this helps!

Well usally ser doesnt come on over the weakend becuase he has stuff to do, so if not today or tomorrow you will be gold by monday usally.

There is no wipe tomorrow. Click the "home"page at the top. All wipes will be announced there a good bit in advance.

Having personally signed up for over 20 accoutns in the last two years.......

I've never once gone to an email to activate anything. I've herad several people say something about this. Can someone please explain what this "activation" thing is?

i think its something to do with paypal where they email you something that says a charge is made and they want you to confirm it before the release the funds...or something along those lines...

They email a validation in the email. You click it, it says, congrats you will now be gold, blah blah wait 24 hours.

I've never heard of a need to validate the payments either.

I have a total of 47 subscription creations, and several hundred payments of both subscription and non-subscription types.

Not once have i ever had to validate anything via email.

Oh, I always have to do that. Maybe its just my PayPal account. Tho I no others who needed to check and validate it through and email. Maybe they changed it.
