Connection Refused...

Okay yeah, today I wanted to log into banff... but I got a connection refused error. What does this one mean? I might be able to find out if I looked hard enough, but I'm at a loss when it comes to searching.

Could anybody tell me?

Ideas:

The wipe is being done...
I'm banned for no reason (which I hope I'm not...)

Connection refused means either one: someone is using your account, or 2: tao hasn't realized that you aren't actually on and your account is running with no one on it. It happens to me too as well as others I'm sure.

It's a first attempt at logging in? I don't have a clue.

Try making new accounts to log in?
Try different servers?
Check to see if the server is online?

Connections will be refused if you spam. [I got a gold gloating about me going to lose at start of game, and he went o k o k o and got spammed out. Too bad I did not catch the screen shot so I can laugh at him in the forums.]

I doubt it and I don't think you're banned. I just think tao hasn't realized your account is running with no one on it. Or major lagging.

Yep, you're right Mitosis. I tried getting on my gold on banff, connection refused. Went grey on banff, connection refused. Went GL on grey, connection refused. I gave it 5 mins, went to IE (I was currently on FireFox) got in instantly. Went back to FireFox, got in instantly. I guess I just had to wait.
