why were the spam threads moved?

I prefer the clutter in GD is all. Or are we finally aknowledging that such threads are highly noobish and slowly herding all such styled threads here?

Those threads are rather n00bish/becoming n00bish and therefore were moved. I preferred them in GD too.

i really dont care.....if you wanna post in them go ahead.....they belong here because they were not really contributing to the conversastions in GD....GD does stand for general DISCUSSION.......and those werent really discussions at all.....

This isn;t the first time they were moved here. Really though, I'd love for a section of the forums to be just for those type threads, and the posts not count for your post count in them. That would stip idiot spammers from doing it just to get a post count, and still allow people to enjoy spamming games.

See, this takes an assumption that all the other threads in GD are discussions, which they're not. So the whole reasoning behind it is kinda flawed.
